Well, I'm glad to hear that some of the things have been fixed, including the headband thing. That really killed a lot of the enjoyment I got from customizing what the players wore.

Wow, that's sad. The Raptors signed Garbajosa on July 24, and supposedly the cut-off date was on August 1st. He's like one of the biggest bench guys they have and there won't be an accurate likeness of the pornoplayer? Damn it. I hope EA releases some final roster touch-ups.

i simmed a game, 8 minutes a quarter, and each team only subbed in 2 players off the bench, the rest played the whole game. I dont think its the fatigue. I noticed some players fatigue was down to nothing and they never subbed out. But there is no fatigue slider, and only a user sub frequency. This is really retarded.

in dynasty mode you can COMPLETELY control the minutes of
your players when simulating the games.
there's an option for each position and there's 100% total to assign
to whatever player you want. so, like for the bulls you can do

pg hinrich-80% duhon-15% gordon-5%

sg gordon-70% deng-30%

sf nocioni-60% deng-25% thomas-15%

pf brown-55% thomas-40% sweetney-5%

c wallace-85% brown-15%

and the minutes are distributed almost exactly as has been specified.

It's not a stupidity issue as much as it is that 90% of people who buy the game for PC don't give half a shit if they can save their stats or not, myself being one of them.

People need to start realizing that this game isn't produced for the minority of those who purchase it. It is released for the masses, and until you start accepting that, you're just going to continue bitching and annoying those of us who see the good and simply want to improve it instead of pouting that we didn't get our way.

Well the PC version should have PC features like save stats. If i just wanted to play nba live, and not play in online leagues, i would have bought it for another system. The ONLY reason i bought nba live was to play in online leagues. I dont even touch dynasty, or anything else besides exhibition games. So while most people love dynasty, for me not having save stats, and a good sub/fatigue system for exhibition games, is like them taking out dynasty for you.

Where did I flame anybody? Where did I say anything because I don't use something? I said 90% of people who buy this game for PC have no use for the save stats feature -- and I'd wager it's even higher than that. So instead of bitching about it year after year after year, why not just get over it?

many people participate in online games, the future is in online games, online part of new games is stronger woth every generation
but in nlive.... well in 04 you had save stats and sliders, in 05 and 06 there's no save stats and onlčy basic sliders, now you have nothing?

bigh0rt: There was a huge complaint last year regarding not being able to save stats for online leagues. Personally, I'm surprised EA didn't respond to those complaints. Online leagues were very popular in the 2004 version.

Ouch and now I see there is no Instant Replay in the Slam Dunk Contest. My memory is not best but I could of swore I used it for some videos in 06.

Well put and same here. The save stats patch as always will be available soon enough but at the same time how hard can it be for them to include it in an official release, that's just lazy. If the fatigue/sub problems are as bad as I've heard I'm already disappointed.

I fully understand where you're comingn from. As a member of NLSC, we are privy to much more of what PC games have to offer than many others. However that said, we still represent a very small portion of the total PC sales worldwide, and the audience in which EA is really looking to reach to. It's unfortunate that in your specific case (and some others I'm sure) you didn't get the feature(s) that would've best suited your interests, but despite all that, you must admit that the graphics, gameplay, and several other aspects have seen large upgrades in this Live installment, many of which we directly asked for -- and we must take the bad with the good. Just growing tired of hearing EA constantly called crap, etc. after such a small sampling of the new game.

While it's great that EA implemented some new features and tweaked some things for the better, what boggles the mind for some of us is the removal of some simple features - as minor as it may be, it could've been something that was significant enough to draw complaints. Personally, I don't give a shit if signature shots have not been added, but taking away minor features that meant a lot to us doesn't make sense. The in-game save feature was probably the biggest feature that was removed and every single year, it was asked for repeatedly. If it was something that worked in the past and used, why remove it?

Well im just saying the game is pretty much useless for me if i dont have these PC features that allow users to play in leagues. I cant stand dynasty, constantly bugging me with all those stupid emails and other things. I just want to manage a team and play. Not hire stupid trainers, and other things. I might try to get into dynasty, i just find it more fun to play with other users then just entertaining myself.
