i've been holding my dynasty for this.

i have dbf viewer too. maybe i could help.

I can't open apperance.bat file with notepad. When I right click on the 2007 NBA Draft Appearance file, there isn't an 'open with' option available. Am I missing sth.?

That's my problem. After I ran the alpha i didn't get the test.text file.



And it also says:

There's no Draft.bat there-

And i don't have the appearance.bat there, and after i press Clean.exe i get a window in which is "90", is that what is supposed to happen?

I checked in game and the names are right for me, but the appearance stats are wrong. Also this one guys name is repeating a lot at the bottom of the list

I'm having a problem at the third point (3. Next you will need a dbf editor that can convert your players.dbf into a text file, I prefer DBF Viewer.Just open the players.dbf go to file/save as/export and save it as players.txt. Make sure your using the comma in the field delimeter box) in the readme file.

What am I doing wrong ?


EDIT: The Draftees are in place and all, but they all are 6'10'' and 220 lbs :O (Including all NBA Players like Arenas etc.)

EDIT: And I have like way too many players in the draft (example: like 15 C.Sumpters)

I dont see test.txt ! I have a sugestion-can RyanP make it install.exe and it will be easier.

Where I can get DBF Viewer? I can't convert player.dbf into players.txt, because DBF Commander hasn't that function.

And yes installer is neccesary, because it is quite difficult to install now.

Well, the Draftees are in my game, with right ratings, but i have a problem with the clean.exe and the alpha.exe. The same error message than the one in milkmans post comes. and there's no test.txt, can someone upload it?

Greg Oden is 6'8'' and I also have like 10 C.Sumpters. Most of the other players look alright after a first quick look

that was extremely useful in messing up the design and wont help anybody here, as the appearids are different for every user as far as i remember..

Before you run the files scroll through to the bottom of your players.dbf and go to the generated rookies. Go over to rookierank and make sure the players are ranked 0 through 89. If they are only ranked 0 through 60 you can only install the first 60 guys. For some reason the game switches the rookierank for the last guys all to 60 and that is the only way to identify who to overwrite.

All other problems you guys are having is related to making the players.dbf into a text file. Use dbf viewer as it is the easiest way to do it. I know it's a little complicated but it's the only way right now. I'll also post a version for people who only have rookieranks up to 60 so you don't have like 20 Curtis Sumpter's.
