That reminds me...

I would like to remind everyone that we have a strict policy regarding discussions of No-CD cracks and pirated copies of the game. In a word: Don't. We've been a bit lenient so far, more lenient than usual since violations of that rule are generally an immediate ban so please be advised that this is a final warning. Thank you.

I HAVE THE US VERSION OF "EA DOWNLOADER" NBA LIVE EVEN UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED FOLLOWING ALL DIRECCTIONS. EVEN SAVED THE PATCH TO DESKTOP AND TRIED TO INSTALL IT UT GOT SAME ERROR> FUCKED UP TO KNOW SOME PEOPLE GETTIN LUCKY OR SOMETHING. WOULD RE_DOWNLOADING THE GAME AND INSTALLING IT POSSIBLY HELP PUT THIS PATCH ON?

I successfully installed the patch and play a game with 12 minutes each. I note that the PC still cannot sub, even though, I make all the user and CPU sliders of fatigue and substitution frequency to 100. I used Suns to play against Dallas (PC). Dirk did not sub by PC even though the stamina of him is empty in 1 minute left of first quarter. Same happened to Diop.

So the patch is rubbish!!!!

I've made numerous posts about this in this thread. I too, have the EA Downloader version of the game and the non-complete test patch that all of us are downloading and trying out is not compatible with the EA Downloader version. I'm sure that the once the patch is released officially, we'll get our own version for the patch.

Reason being, just to get the EA Downloader version to work I had to grab a fresh .exe from a CD-Rom/DVD installation, patch my game, then start the game with my .exe. Not everything in the game is functioning properly that's supposed to be fixed by this "test" patch, and I still have the CTD. Patience is going to be required.

Oh, and before another person quotes my blocks of text and says "I think it didn't work because you have an illegal copy". Yeah, I downloaded it off Electronic Arts' official downloader program. Yes, I shelled out 40 bucks for this bug-riddled program just like the rest of you.

Just because my game didn't come on a CD-Rom or DVD doesn't mean it's illegal.

As I just said, the patch that was made available was only put online for testing purposes. It has not been officially released yet which would explain why people with other language versions of the game as well as a copy acquired through EA Downloader have not had any luck.

Quite a few people have been able to get the patch working. However, it should be noted that the version that people have been downloading appears to have been a test version that has not yet been officially released and wasn't meant to be downloaded by anyone other than the QA team. I think we'll need to wait for the official release before we make any conclusive assessments.

Ditto, similar problem. I got the EA downloader version. I can't get the beta ptach to run at first, so I used someone's nbalive07.exe file. After the patch file got installed, I switch back to my original exe file.

I see there's substitution slider. I leave it at default. I see there's fatigue effect. I turn the fatigue effect ON. When I go back and check on it, it's OFF. Took a few tries to figure out you need to turn stamina bar ON to be able to set fatigue effect ON.

I test it with Detroit vs Miami. McDyess is the starting PF, his fatigue ran out before the end of 1st quarter, NO SUB. His fatigue is empty beginning of 2nd quarter, still NO SUB. Starters fatigue doesn't seem to drop. Jason Williams still got like 75% left after 1st quarter. Wade is almost full. Hamilton, Prince, Billups are almost full as well. Maybe those that got the patch to work has the DVD/CD version. And this beta patch is not meant for EA downloader.

The direct pass button. On defense, dunk and layup is fixed. But on offense, it's still swapped.

Didn't even bother with the shoes thing yet.

My game didn't crush when I select QUIT before. I glad it didn't crush this time too.

and the beta patch still crash my game to desktop when i press quit game button

Also , i find the beta patch / EA has difficulties in recognize a high value in fatigue in there sub algorithm, and i found out some of this algorithm now

if they put the effect of sub=100 to be sub = 50, i think that will be fine!

this is the game using sub = 100 in both cpu and user, with my PG fix 4.0 and my 1.9 preview of "RosterFatigueAdjust" (still under work!)

I left the CPU sub frequency at 50 and the substitutions are pretty normal playing 9 minute quarters. The PG dominance was less of an issue in the two games I played after the first. However I had a close game against Orlando and Ariza and Arroyo were subbed late for Hill and Nelson, the Magic's top two scorers so far, and ended up playing out the rest of the game. Not very realistic as neither player was overly fatigued or in foul trouble. I hope EA gets this patch right. Otherwise I give up on this series.

Jimmy, when u select away shoes for any player, than exiting to roster, than again go to edit shoes of the same player - away shoes is default, and home shoes become aways!

patch will not work with the cracked nba07.exe,so my solution,reinstall the game and before you put crack install the patch! Jes pc still dosent change players,but PG dosent take so much shot`s.....
P.S. Still waiting for real patch!!

It has been explained in the homepage,
this patch is only for the American version and it is not completed yet.
They will officiailly release the full version with the other language later.
So don't complain yet

There something wrog if u put back ur nocd crack the fatigue doest change if u turn it off it will off but if ur going back to the option again the fatigue is still on while if u using the original copy of the exe when u turn it off it will even if you go back aain to that menu use "asr" to run the game in cd mode

While claming no subs for superstars please state your quarter lenght.....
If you play 5 minutes no wonder Kobe or Nash won't sub out...

I'll post you a screen of my next game (10min quarters, CPU sub 100)...which will take a while becouse I'm going out now...........
