my first impression..

i will go and get some screen shots, but you have to tell me who he is and what team he plays for. Might want to be specific too, ingame, profile pic, something. Unless you want a screen of something else? Some of these euro players i couldnt tell what team they are on. Screen shots only.... Im going to wait like 5-10 minutes and then go get some. So let me know, and dont request alot because i wont do yours if you ask for 10 different players.

Just want to say a thanks to everyone whos taken the time and effort to post screenshots and tell us about the game.

Despite what appears to be signituare jump shot dissapointment i cant wait for this game, i love basketball and despite its faults i loved the last live. Im sure i will love this one too, just ashame i have to wait till the 6th before EA let me play the game i downloaded from them <_<

Cyberfaces look nice - I think Saras looks fantastic.

Would be nice to see some full 1280x1024 or higher screenshots with AA and AF forced in a driver control panel, perhaps linked rather than posted to the forum for the sake of people on dial-up.

You're probably looking for current gen, but this commercial might give you a good idea. Someone will probably post one anyway, but just a thought.

Can you control the main menu's and in game menu's with your controller? It's not a problem with heaps of other games, rockstar games has had that feature for years...

I just got the game! Looks great so far.

I don't know why they had to change the direct pass mappings. (PASS) now goes to C and (Dunk) goes to the SF. Caused me 3 turnovers in the 5 minutes I got to play the game during my lunch break.

I'm running a kickass machine which ran Live 06 smoothly on max settings, but 07 has a bit of a sluggish feel to it, must be the foot planting/weight thingy they implemented this year.

PRESS CAM... best that I've ever seen since NBA live 97 for the PC (EA has locked me down in my room for 10 years! GeeZ!)

I've always preferred shooters from high flyers, when I made my first Baseline jumper from hamilton, I got chills down my spine (hehehe). They changed the net animation as well as the swoosh sound (however you want to call you it).

Moving around the court with the ball has changed a lot as well. For the first time, I got the sensation that the player really is dribbling something and not walking/skating around.

Aside from the remapping of direct pass (separation of dunk and layup), I don't see any big adjustments on my end on how I play the game. The FSS stick is a nice to have when playing with another human player. Other than that, I don't see the need.

I'm yet to see the stick controlled free throw (they won't foul me..darn it!)

p.s. Can't believe the person from gamestop told me that "oh even though we only have one copy, nobody usually asks for the PC version, but ok i'll hold it for you"

well there wasnt any xbox 360 controller setup in there, like they have for other controllers. I had to go and make my own. But it does work.
