very nice man, you are just getting better and better

might want to stick some kind of variation on the blue divider to make it a bit more realistic other than that, amazing

I plan on making one for each team.....

 Man, what a commitment!!! This means around 50 arenas!!! I guess the final release is many months away... but this patch is gonna be the best one ever... BTW thank you for your ongoing updates, your works are aways very, very good... :applaud:

Yea but its not really as many as it sounds for example there will be 3 diffrent Forums, 2 Boston Gardens and 2 MSG for example. They will be built the some what the same but the art would need to be changed to give the look of the era team. Yea i think bayaga still far out with the final release. I am currently in the middle of training camp for my new team so if i make the final cuts not sure how much will be getting done. Also NBA 2k10 is just around the corner.

Here another version the "The forum" based on the look for the 1972 Finals against the NY Knicks... Its darker then the 87 version and you can see the change. Take a look at the back borad and basket stand and crowds seats very retro.

Re: Classic Retro Arena's Preview: 63' Boston Garden

You ask and you shall recive .... 63' Boston Garden

Has total different look and feel from the 86' Boston Garden. Looks like what it did in 63', shot clock, backboard, bench , score board , banners, press table totally has the look of the 63' garden as seen in old nba tv videos.

only you could get away with that. I still have 2 more to previews. I haven't worked on any since end sept. And all the work i have done has been sent over for bayaga . In june or so i we start up again. Unless there is a 3-D editor for staduims for Nba2k10

gotta use either Maya ($$$) or Blender (free)

I'd be glad to help you out with blender

jao , thanks man , just downloaded it and watched the video. I can see can edit part of the stadium it self but if i what to move the jumbtron to different part of the arena looks like it cant do. Have you tried to edit a arena or court your self w/ this?

Note : i dont have the game for pc, doesnt run on new mac and the pc i use for live cant handle it.

yea so looks like you wont be able to much then but in blender you gotta switch from "object mode" to "edit mode"

Thu Mar 04, 2010 12:24 am

yea i will play around with it tonight and with blender. But i think i cant do what i have done w/ live arenas w/ 2k arena with these tools. Let hope we can.

If anybody wants to see more of my arena work i will post more prewiews.

I def want to see more of what you've done with 06

and with the 2k thing, it's pretty much the exact same thing as using ebodit/ebo editor, just with a 3d program and better tools. we still cant add or delete anything but the arenas are pretty much the same

here's another preview...

93' America West based on the 1993 NBA Finals , Looks totally diiffrent for the one that on the disk. Detail banners and ads also lightling and jumbtron.

thx man, thing is i really dont play Live and its only when i patch arena. And i really love 2k10 and would enjoy the game even more with my patches. And seeing retro rosters coming out. Would add some much, the thing with live the player just look so bad. But if i cant patch 2k the way i wont, and i plan to patch again in the next few months.

im with you on that

with blender, as it stands right now in my understanding, we can do the exact same things to 2k10 as we could with ebodit in Live.
