I would say at similar times/situations. For instance, it doesn't matter whether it's a season or a dynasty. It also doesn't matter what the two teams are. It always crashes when I quit game at the end of the game. I've tried selecting quit game before the end of the game with mixed results. It seems to take me to the schedule more often then not if I quit early on, and seems to take me crashing to the desktop when i quit the game more towards the end.

He plays small forward.

MadbaLL wrote:- los angeles lakers: luke walton should not be in starting lineup for the lakers, lamar odom or even trevor ariza should be at SF

Luke Walton has been starting while Lamar Odom has been coming off the bench until Andrew Bynum got injured. Hence, Odom is coming off the bench in the Uninjured version.

MadbaLL wrote:- san antonio spurs: drew gooden and manu ginobili should be in starting lineup (gooden as a PF/i think duncan will switch to C and ginobili as a SG)

Same deal. That's not how it's been happening, this year I'm having the Uninjured rosters closer reflect the actual lineups more often than not but simply ignore any current injuries.

MadbaLL wrote:- jason richardson (suns) - remove him headband and sleeve

- gerald wallace (bobcats) - put team headband

- chris paul (hornets) - put him white sleeve on right arm

- dwight howard (magic) - put him team sleeve on left arm

I'll double check those accessories but I'm pretty sure I gave Chris Paul his sleeve in the last update.

MadbaLL wrote:1) is it possible that you include more updated courts in next nba live 07 roster update?

I don't have it down as a priority.

MadbaLL wrote:2) do you have in plans to make NLSC roster patch for nba 2k9?

Absolutely no plans whatsoever, sorry. I don't own NBA 2K9 and have absolutely no intention of getting it, so I definitely won't be patching it.

Sounds like the usual trouble with NBA Live 07. It's a frustrating one because there isn't a set fix that constantly works. It's kind of a luck of the draw thing with the installation, some people have had to reinstall the game multiple times before they can get it to work. It defies regular computer logic, I know, but it's about the only thing we've found that works. It's a pretty tiresome endeavour though.

- no, you are wrong :), luke walton isn't starting for the lakers (check their official site and boxscore)... i know about lamar odom starting when bynum got hurt, but trevor ariza is their first choice starter at SF as he was in their last two games;

- regarding gooden and ginobili, i think at least with ginobili (who is hurt) we can tell that he would have been starter;

- maybe you updated those accessories in nba live 08, but here in 07 all those are not updated :)... also you should remove headband for derek fisher;

- it would be great if those court makers could send you updated courts for atlanta, charlotte at least;

Yes exactly, the last two games; not at the time the rosters were released. Walton has started 34 of the 50 games he's played however. If Ariza continues to start then I'll probably make the change but it was absolutely correct as of the last release.

MadbaLL wrote:- regarding gooden and ginobili, i think at least with ginobili (who is hurt) we can tell that he would have been starter;

No. Out of the 38 games he's played this year, he's started four. Last year he started just 23 out of 74 games. I won't be putting him into the starting lineup until he's established as a regular starter again.

I'm pretty sure I did the Paul one at least, I'm sure I remember doing it for 08, 07 and the as yet unreleased v1.0 of NBA Live PC for NBA Live 06. A couple of the others I definitely know I haven't done yet.

MadbaLL wrote:- it would be great if those court makers could send you updated courts for atlanta, charlotte at least;

That's up to them, not me. I might be able to get a few together but like I said it's really not a priority when those updates can be downloaded seperately elsewhere (and not overwritten by future installations of the rosters).

also:
- ray allen (boston celtics) - put him white or black sleeve on left arm;

- jamario moon (miami heat) - put him team forearm band on left arm;

as far those other accessories i mentioned earlier, they are all missing in this version of NLSC roster update :)

Does 08 seem to be less buggy? If so, I may look into buying that version. I love NBA Live, but get tired of dancing the uninstall/reinstall mambo.

I've checked and Chris Paul definitely has his sleeve so I don't know how that's possible but in any case I'll make sure it's there for v2.9.

No, NBA Live 08 is even worse. I'd actually recommend NBA Live 06 if you can pick it up somewhere as we're getting close to releasing our major upgrade for it (which we'll continue updating through at least next season), NBA Live 08 was not a good release at all.

i can't belive this,,, this is the first time that i don't have some accessorie you already put... i got this roster a day after you informed us that there is a bug with knicks team, so it cannot be the buggy one... the reason why i played with hornets is to check out that paul sleeve and it wasn't there... i don't know how and why but my copy of v2.8 is without it... also without all other accessoires i mentioned in my earlier posts...

here is the proof: Image

i installed v2.8 on a clean nba live 07 installation...

also i want to ask you how come that we hear commentators say derrick rose's, mario chalmers, beasley's name but not for other rookies?

You shouldn't hear their full names. They have common surnames that are in the game's audio database so Marv should call them by their surnames. Rookies (or indeed any missing players that have been added) with surnames that are not in the database will just get called by their number.

in any case, i hope we would not have to wait too long for new version :)

i have one more suggestion for knicks roster... on several nba related sites jared jeffries is listed as a PF/SF, while chris wilcox is listed as a C-F, so maybe it would be better to switch their positions in next roster release (you put jeffries as a C, and wilcox as a PF in v2.8)...

Yeah I did that in the NBA Live PC release and I'll be doing it with the rest of the rosters too. For a while Jeffries was starting at centre hence the switch, I've been juggling positions throughout the season when it comes to some players. He'll be back to being listed as a PF/SF in v2.9.

here is a new set of feedback and updates for upcoming v2.9 (only UNINJURED version):

- charlotte bobcats active roster lacks guards - i suggest puting cartier martin on IL, while putting sean singletary into active roster to fill the guard quote on active roster;

- miami heat - put james jones into active roster instead of dorell wright - jones is back from injury and he is the first choice for SF/SG rotation, not wright;

- michael beasley (miami heat) has a wrong height - he is 6-9, not 6-10 (it was a draft info mistake), they changed it also on nba.com profile: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/michael_b ... ?nav=page;

thank you.

here is the new feedback for UNINJURED roster:

- phoenix suns - put jared dudley into active roster instead of alando tucker; also swith dudley's primary and secondary position to SF/PF;

- new jersey nets - put eduardo najera into active roster instead of chris douglas-roberts;

- los angeles lakers - put adam morrison into active roster instead of shannon brown;

- washington wizards - put ethan thomas into active roster instead of javale mcgee;

also switch primary/secondary positions for andray blatche and darius songaila - put blatche as a C/PF and songaila as a PF/C (it's how they are listed on nba.com)

I thought I'd done that already for some of those, though it could've been in the 06 update which is slightly more up to date.

Douglas-Roberts has been playing more often than Najera, so I'd prefer to leave that how is it. Same goes for Morrison and Brown on the Lakers. In the boxscores, Songaila is listed as the starting centre, which matches his bio. With the way NBA Live handles substitutions, sometimes I have to juggle primary and secondary positions so that the game will come a bit closer to using actual lineups; sometimes it's an error but quite often I've switched these positions by design and for a reason. :)

yeah, maybe you did all this in 06 roster version but not in v2.8 :D

okay, back to feedback again :D - maybe you misunderstood me :) this is for uninjured roster, you can leave it the way you feel it's right for injured roster, but my feedbacks are ONLY for uninjured roster. so in that case, i think you are a little wrong :wink: , because here are the facts:

- najera is injured and that's why he isn't playing that often... while he was healthy he was one of the important players in rotation and he was getting 11,8 MPG, while douglas-roberts is getting 9.8;

- similar case is with morrison too - morrison is getting 7,0 MPG, while brown is getting 4.3 MPG;

- regarding blatche and songaila, i watched many wizards' games and blatche was mainly C, while songaila was a first PF then C...

one new accessorie update:

- stephen jackson (warriors) - put him team wristband on both arms;

again i must get back to something we already mentioned...

i checked FSN and YAHOO sports depth charts and they say that josh smith plays PF this season, while marvin williams plays SF this season...

also i checked something that bugged me for a while and that is jamal crawford and monta ellis... i thought monta ellis is a PG and crawford is a SG, but it seems a mistake... since his arrival from NYK, crawford plays PG, while ellis plays SG...

you can also check out both of these things by yourself and change it for v2.9 release...

:wink:

But when Stephen Jackson starts alongside Ellis, Ellis is playing point guard. The Warriors' rotation is pretty hard to figure out and assign positions for, quite often this season they've started four shooting guards/swingmen and a centre. Don Nelson certainly has unique methods. ;)

yes, but in the last couple of games, because crawford is out of a game for a while.... but those infos are based on the fact as he (crawford) was in the game...

i didn't have a chance to watch atlanta and golden state on tv this season yet, but it's how those depth charts are... if you have some other infos and sources about those two teams, it would be great.

The boxscores usually indicate otherwise but as I said, it's a tough call with Golden State. I haven't found those depth chart listings to always be entirely accurate and as I said, sometimes allowances have to be made for NBA Live's substitution and defensive matchup logic.

it's my first time to use the forums,

can i ask why is the OKC's away jersey is still the old Seattle's away?

the OKC's away jersey hasn't appeared since the version 2. is it because i have JUMP Update 07 for my jersey in NBA Live 07?

and i'm not sure if it sacramento, orlando, or new orleans that has the same problem with oklahoma.

I would say so. If you've got Seattle jersey updates in .fsh format in the sgsm folder, they'll be loaded instead of the updated .viv files. In that case, you'll need to delete those files from your sgsm folder.
