oh, my god. i only thought you were ignorant, but now i might have to think what you stated. read the above post by pdub, i'm tired of explaining this.

yes, i've read every word of your posts unlike yourself, and i know the first time you tried it didn't work. now if only YOU read my replies carefully, i already stated as to why it didn't work for you, i have no clue. but the patch you linked and the previous beta are exactly the same.

Your funny, i understand what you wrote, and i know you don't understand what i'm righting. If the previous BETA download is the same as the one I linked, then there is NO WAY that it would not install on lots of peoples computer computer and then all of a sudden install??? MAKE SENSE? I AM not saying this is "OFFICIAL" patch, it might be for english DVD might not. You said it yourself you can't explain why it wouldn't install then all of a sudden install if no changes have been made... RIGHT??? So lets use logic here and skip the funny stuff you call whatever it is

Bottom line is this.....

The link posted has helped at least a few other people get a working copy of the game that could't play it before (myself included) if you wish to wait for EA great, awesome wait for them, but me, I can actually play the game now so I'm happy.... You're not....

i tried, it works, and i reinstalled the game and use german's nbalive07.exe and then installed the offical english (not digital version ) the patch ........ it do not affect the language...
still, the game is english.....abd playable....

one thing is that..... the file sizes of nbalive07.exe, screens.viv, plyfaces.viv do NOT change!!!!!!! exactly the same size before and after the patch applied...

but the modified date do changed!!!

i found that the game do not crash anymore when "Quit game"

there have fatigue on/off and cpu sub slider

i use the stock (not my tweaked roster) ea roster...

for 8min gameplay for two qtrs

only 2 players subbed...........even sub= 100 of both cpu and user

dirk, terry and harris never subbed..........

PG dom still exists!!!

i will stick to my fatigueroster and pg fix .............

what you cant get through your thick skull is that even if it did not work for you in the first place, it DID for most others. and it IS the same freakin file. the exact underlying CODE is the same, goddamn down to every goddamn byte. is that too hard to understand for you? so stop arguing for the sake of arguing and SEE the facts: what you linked IS the previous beta.

NOW, the people who thought what you linked was the actual working official patch...can go back to waiting, and playing with the beta - as they did before.

if you've helped some people who weren't following the existing threads about the beta, good for you - but it is no reason to confuse others who were expecting the OFFICIAL patch, considering the release posted was bugged.

umm, if it worked for most people then we wouldn't be hear talking about it. and you say you read my post, and you seem like a smart guy, it can't be the exact same if it didn't work and then it does work. I mean we're talking about simple logic here, but hey maybe WE are missing something here. unless we lots of people have the exact same computer and the time change secretly activated a code byte

on a side not, I did the whole german thing, and would be curious to know what should be different between the "Official" patch and the "Beta" patch?

Not sure which patch you are talking about. if you are talking about the patch from EA with the EGI at the end. then

rename your nbalive.exe file to like englishnbalive.eve

and unzip the german on into your nbalive direc.

then click on the nba live "Official patch" with the egi on the end and it shoudl install

if your talking about the one I post then, just install iit by clicking on in

hey guys if you are playing the game, did you see the STAMINA BAR under the players? if not, you haven't download the OFFICIAL PATCH, you just downloaded the BETA or the UNOFFICIAL EA PATCH.

it was obvious you weren't one of the followers of the previous threads on the beta patch, because most people got it to work, and have been playing with it ever since it was leaked. and its obvious that you're oblivious of the facts even when posted in front of your face, so i'm done trying to help you understand. Hopefully the others who were confused and posted earlier have finally understood what you fail to see. AND of course, thanks for resorting to childish comments as "hating on you," after i try to help those in obvious need of clarification. it'll remind me not to help people who haven't done their homework of searching forums before posting.

Hi, I'm new to these forums.

Does any1 know how to solve the problem for the Patch which was released yesterday (Nov. 10)?

Whenever I try to install it, it gives me the error msg 'Old File not found'. I had installed the BETA version a few days prior, and it installed & worked fine with no problems.

I've even tried uninstalling and re-installing the game ... no change.

Can sum1 help?

There is a stamina bar under the player with the ball

but thanks for telling me what I could see instad of just telling me its not the official patch

What facts are you talking about? the ones where you ignore the simple fact that this was not the exact same file as what they uploaded before. lol you say i acted childish? you don't even know what "Hating" is, it means you say only negative stuff because your jealous (or something close to that) either way how did you help anyone? the only thing you did was say its the same file its the same file and its obivious to me its not.

p.s. you notice how one guy answered the last posters question about how to install the german and you were just negative....
