Talk about NBA Live 07 here.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 11:43 am
Though there is no directory for Live 07 (which means it won't work atm) the right URL for the EA Sports FTP is ftp.ea.com (not ftp.pt.ea.com)
Well, neither work for me.
I'm starting to think that somebody's pulling a very tasty joke.

Instead of "photo proof"... why not just give everyone the fucking patch.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 11:54 am

Why not use rapidshare and just upload it?

Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:10 pm

Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:20 pm
Works like a charm. Thank you very much for finding that (although I seriously ask myself why the heck didn't I came on that idea. This is basically such an easy solution)
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:20 pm
Sorry, I couldn't find the link sooner. Not that good with computers.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:31 pm
so does that mean its out?! woohoo! time to download the patch!
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:36 pm
*wonders if EA realizes its up and isnt prepared to release yet*
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:39 pm
Not that I wanna defend EA but I'm pretty sure they did because the put the "download exe" back onto the update page at the time someone mentioned the patch was available even tho that link doesn't work.. but someone correct me if i'm wrong I believe stuff like patches are always released on ftp before it is released to public like firefox 2 was today.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:41 pm
i also wonder why EA isnt plastered all over the patch i just downloaded....
EDIT: time for a test run, be back in a bit
EDIT 2: Test run preliminary stages shows the buttons for direct pass are fixed, fatigue effect (as shown in the post earlier), and a sub slider for cpu
EDIT 3: this very possibly could be the real deal found before EA is choosing to announce, ive yet to find any major bugs since the patch but subs are occuring not due to fouls, my players start to be terrible as they fatigue...but it does set shot control to CPU, fix that and you're home free

Well, I just downloaded the patch (from the link above) and I seem to get some sort of installation error - as if I have the patch previously installed. I garuntee you that I do not. See below.
Anyone else getting this problem? I have the EA Downloader version of NBA Live 07.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:45 pm
I have the same problem, but the patch seams to not find the old file at all, so it just doesn't start installing.
Strange!
Anyone confirm that this is indead a EA patch and that this works????
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:45 pm
There might be a different patch for the Downloader version. Seems like your nbalive07.exe doesn't match with the retail one.

That is certainly possible, infact highly likely. Which is unfortunate. I'm going to do a fresh install of NBA Live 07 then to try to apply the patch. If that doesn't work, I'll install it to a different directory. Just to cover the bases.

i just reinstalled the game, and the patch will install.
The CPU still doesn't sub though. I have fatigue and CPU Sub frequency all the way to 100, and i'm at mid way quater 2.
Anybody?

I have this downloaded, But im not installing shit until I see a moderator vouching for it. Not cause I dont trust you guys, but this is the internet here. I'll sit on my hands until some real confirmation, or announcement by ea, can ease my doubts.

Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:53 pm
tol ano ba?? bawal ipagusapan ang mga kopyang Live na ganydan dito...
translation: dude whats up?? you can talk about pirated copies of Live here...

Those of you using no-cd cracks must revert to the ORIGINAL nbalive.exe file. After it is patched however, You may no longer be able to use your no-cd crack. Use common sense and back your stuff up before you do anything here. I never use CD-cracks cause of this. Is it that hard to put a 2 ounce plastic disc in a tray? Lazy turds, lol.

Uhm, I most certainly do have the EA Downloader version of NBA Live 07. The .exe has not be altered in any sort of way.
I just did a fresh reinstall and that doesn't seem to remedy the problem. Argh. Changing the game's directory. We'll see what happens when the Patch Installer can't locate the default directory of the game and I have to (hopefully) browse for it.
Tue Oct 24, 2006 12:54 pm
I just reinstall the game. and it still not works.
I have the dvd version of the game, not the downloaded one!
Problem is still there, maybe this is the downloaded version patch only
