But there are "reasons" behind the market believing the profit will be more or less in the future.

There are so many possible reasons, it become almost pure speculation as to the true reason for whether they go up or down.

just curious but since they stated they stand behind their product, couldn't the fact that these glitches exist across multi platforms and pretty much exist for everyone who bought the game make a case that the media the game is made on is faulty and therefore warrant a return.

Or maybe a replacement for a working copy, which could also be returned unopened for a refund. i know in the live 2006 manual, there is some warrant that the recording medium is free from defects and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.

not sure how all those replacements and/or returns would affect stocks. or how fast. anyone have any more legal or technical knowledge of how this might bring the defect and warranty policy into play?

unless this decline is "noise trading" then it would be incorrect to say it's "almost pure speculation as to the true reason for whether they go up or down". Markets move according to fundamental rules.

Is there a definite reason as to why the share prices went down? I havent seen one apart from speculation.

not many games would have sold, if any really, if they said there would be no subs, fatigue, etc., so if it's not working on anyone's system with no implication that it wouldn't, it doesn't seem to be a case of individual sytem errors.

looks like it must be faulty disks, or misleading customers if they stand behind it.
