in franchise.dat the numbers go up to 8a**
i cannot find 8f**
i don't know if i had understood it right please help

Have you converted your current salary cap with your calculator?
What year are you in, in your Dynasty?
Make sure you don't worry about current salary (You only need to change the CAP).

even now that i have figured out my right hex (23c3 stands for 9155)
i haven't found out what to do with it

ah when you say in part 7 "in the opened franchise...searching the last two digits followed by the first two"
means that in my case l should search for C323, but there is no such number
plus there is no number 2365 for example. there is only 2360 followed by 2370

Don't think you understood. It sounds like you are talking about the hex offsets. Plus he said you need 5 digits to convert, not 4.

My salary cap is 53.14, so that makes it 53.135 just like the tutorial. That is 53135. Convert it to hex is CF8F. Invert the first two and last two digits. Now it becomes 8FCF.
Do a search for 8FCF. This is actually a function. It should be called "Search" or "Find" in the program. As long as you converted the salary cap correctly, you should be able to find it.

It should look like this -

008F CF00

Forget all the rest of the conversions. Just add a 1 to the second double zero so it looks like this.

008F CF01

-10.13m? Thats not a salary cap it looks more like cap room. Your looking at the wrong value in game. Go to the free agent signing screen and look at the very first value at the top. That is your salary cap.

I tried doing this method for editing my xbox dynasty. It says damaged save for even FFFA or A0 86 01. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong. Ofcourse it could be impossible to edit a xbox game save but any help is appreciated.

my salary cap is 72.14mil, i put in 72.135 in the calculator changed to hex and it gave me 119c7, a FIVE DIGIT combination. this got me stumped, so i first decided to search for c7-119, and got no result. then i searched 9c7-11, no result. then i was playing around with the bubbles on the right side, like qword and dword, and i clicked on word and the 5 digit combo became a 4 digit one, 19c7. searched that, got a result and i changed it and then the game ended up crashing right after loading. luckily i made a backup

when i did open the ultraedit to search 49d9..
i cant find it.....you cld try d calculations urself
and am also in my first year....

Are you sure you are looking at the salary cap instead of the Team Salary? The first year your salary should always be the same at 53.14/53.135.

This is the 07 section. I don't think anyone was able to find the hex values for 08. Maybe EA changed it so the salary cap value isn't saved in a dat file.
