Sorry guys .. here's a very good tutorial on how to add custom cyberfaces into the game. Credit to Cable Guy for this.

http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic3517 ... bf+editing

In players.dbf you need to change:

ISCREATED to False
ISGENERATE to False
ISHISTORIC to False
PLYERPKG to the 7 letter code that's used (i.e. mijorda)

In appearance.dbf you need to find the APPEARID that's the same as the PLAYERID from players.dbf for that player, then edit the following for that line:

FACEID to -1

Ratings are subjective. There's no way somebody can tell you exactly what anything should be.

That is correct. However, as I said, they are subjective person to person. If I give him my ratings, I can almost guarantee that:

a) there will be at least 5 replies complaining about the ratings I give
b) they will not match with EA's default rating scale (if such a thing exists), since my method of rating differs from most

ok well alot of people request caps and so on so i guess most people will be okay with whatever they get rather than trying to come up with something themself.

Classic Teams postponed for a bit.I think i'm going to wait for a jersey raptor and an updated roster (Andrew or Ben).I can't import the jerseys that conrad and dragon made for me in 06....the numbers come out weird.

Anyone notice that the coaches bheds don't look as good as 06? (N) (N)

See you guys in a while

Why do you need an updated roster? Your roster will be for the old teams right? So no need to worry about current guys...

Maybe you could just work on stadiums and rosters now; many of the jerseys will already be in the game as retro jerseys anyway.

What goes wrong with importing the jerseys? You could just import the graphic file into an '07 jersey, right? I don't see how that would mess up the numbers. It will be hell to do any custom numbers with this joke of 00-99 graphic files for only the back number.

Simple enough to resize the graphics file isn't it? Or didn't ea graphics editor always resize it for you? I don't even know what to use anymore, none of the graphic editors have been updated or are able to edit '07 files well as far as i can tell

Will these classic teams include speechID? I found out that a few of the legends which are not included in Live 07 have no speechID anymore.

I have a some of speechids i extracted from Live 2001 (majerle, hornacek etc..) that i wanted to import to 07 , but it seems audy 06 won't open any speech files. When i try to import a file ..the announcer doesn't say it in game.

the 256x256 resized texture makes the jerseys wordmarks blurry...and I don't want release low resolution jerseys that they made for me.They just dont look as good.

Hi mate, how come you did not use these speechIDs you extracted from NBA Live 2001 on your classic teams patches for Live 06 ? Can you please upload these speech IDs because I would really like to add them to my NBA Live 06. I am sure that they won't take more than a few kilobytes each to upload.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to more patches from you. Keep up the good work.

Anyone know the name of the arena in Barcelona that Olympic basketball was played in for the 1992 Olympics?

I tried to research it and the only arena name i could find was Palau Sant Jordi. Let me know if this is correct. Thanks
