Does anybody know if the practice court is the same in 07 as 06? I always hated that boiler room piece of shit compared to the team facility style of 2005, unless u could change it in 06 :?

it didn't make any sense so you can't really get to the bottom of what they were saying, except there that they reckon there's still the same problems there as in 06

but we all knew that right

Remember last year how we all got lied to by ea, well i hope history is not about to repeat itself... Check this out

This is a screenshot from ea's offical Live 06 website
where it states that it is a pc-cd screenshot.....Wrong
This and all the other screenshot they marketed for current gen where all in fact xbox screenshots. They lied to suck us all in for sales.

Image
OOOHHH, notice the moveble jerseys with better textures and lighting

This is a Live 07 screenshot from gameswelt
HHMM... sure as hell looks to me like live 06 with a new scorebord overlay
Image
Poor "YAO" his left leg just got cut off by those stiff jerseys....Ouch!!!

Dont get me wrong, with patching we can make it look good, however I like everyone else in this forum who is loyal to NBA Live, does not
deserve to be lied too by EA. So this year they promise better gameplay and improved features... I bloody hope so :!: :!: :!:

We the true fans deserve a complete build not an expansion pack called nba live 07. I would strongly recomend hiring it before you purchase

ign usually takes xbox videos and posts them in the PC and PS2 sections.
Opinions are my own.

I'm sure they updated some tats and stuff, but if overall the game looks exactly the same as '06 with stiff jerseys and flat board crowds, then it might just be another yearly-roster-update from EA...

Exactly! The PC version is the one that should look and feel the best, with more realistic physics and visuals, but I guess we, PC users, are not a potential source of revenues that's high enough compared to next-gen consoles...Getting fed up with that
Been buying this game for more than years, and I wish EA could acknowledge its real customers a bit more...

Typically, for any game released on several platforms, PC sales don't account for more than 15%-20% (I've seen this on PC Gamer mag), and it's just gonna keep decreasing with the release of these new consoles. Even if they're always one or several steps behind PC gaming technology, developers are obviously gonna focus their efforts on these...

EA didn't do any lying.

The jersey textures from the early screenshots are prototypes, and if you bothered to fucking pay attention then you'd know that 2K does the same shit.

And of course the game looks like Live 06! What the fuck are you expecting when the 2 new consoles are dropping in November? We can't expect anything new at all, except for gameplay.

I'm optimistic they will produce a quality game this time. No matter what they produce it will be heavily patched regardless so the amount NLSC doesnt wouldnt necessarilly reflect the overall quality of the game. After Andrews report I am sure more than a few of us will be happy.

If the gameplay is a good as EA hypes this year, then i will be looking forward to aiact.viv patching with the different tiers of superstar levels

The thing the annoys me the most about EA, is the fact that all platforms are designed /programed using a high end pc or mac rig with different software for each platform. So how hard can it be to make the pc ,ps2 & xbox the same.

Generally the PC is a port of the PS2 version, which is why
the PS2 version last year got stiffed like the pc version did with the better jerseys etc. So if this years pc version looks like last year then you can pretty much guess so will the ps2. So if you hire Live07 for PS2 you will pretty get the idea of what the pc version will be like. Which of course the pc has the advatage with patching.

Many can argue the fact that the current gen xbox is more powerful the the ps2......TOTAL BULLSHIT!!!

I think its pretty clear that microsoft in the past year has influenced EA somehow(M-O-N-E-Y) to develop a better version for their consoles.

So they just keep releasing the same old for PC, Ps2 each year till we get jack of it and buy a Next Gen console.

I even have strange feeling that Sony this year have been the big influence for EA and that the xbox 360 will no doubt be well imporved, but all the hype like proceedual awareness, foot planting and bench & crowd animations is all for the PS3, which is why in most of xbox 360 videos, it seems like all that hype is missing, and now dobt EA just saids it an early build.

The shroud of the darkside has fallen......BEGUN, THE NEXT-GEN CONSOLE WAR HAS :!: :!: :!:
