Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Pretty hard to have a cutoff date in October when the game is released in September.

Earlier release dates mean earlier roster cutoff dates.
Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:01 pm
Yeah thats true Andrew. But still I would wait for the game till October if they would make it even better

.

A later release would suit me fine too, if only for a more up to date default roster. If nothing else it'd make doing the rosters a little easier.
Sun Sep 24, 2006 10:06 pm
Speaking of your roster update. How much time does it take to make one Andrew?
Sun Sep 24, 2006 10:11 pm
Depends how long it's been since the last update and what needs doing. And since I can feel the question coming, no, I haven't set a date for my first update for NBA Live 07. I'll make an announcement about that after I've had a chance to spend some time playing the game.

Can some one tell me if EA going to put online roser update in ther web site? or they trust this forum and andrews' roster?

The roster cut-off date is poor but looking on the bright side there will not be a lot missing. Dee Brown is the biggest lost and can easily be created. Ditto for Paul Millsap. Jacobsen, Wagner and Jones should all be free agents and I'm not going to be depressed that Walter Hermann isn't in the game. I'm not too bothered about coaches so therefore there's not a lot to complain about. For next year though they must make the cutoff date as late as possible in case they get a repeat of last year when there was some big trades not included like Joe Johnson etc. And between now and when it is released I cannot see many big things going down except the possibility of Mo Taylor's contract being bought out and Bonzi Wells signing with a team.

personally, I don't think Wagner will be in the game considering hes been out of the league for years. plus, he was not in 2005, or 06.

Damn the roster for the Rockets is old as SHIT.
http://sports.ign.com/nbalive07/houston.html
Doesnt have John Lucas, Casey Jacobson, and Vassilis Spanoulis
Plus, the Rockets dont have Lampe anymore I dont think.
Gay cutoffs..

Apparently a few official updates will be made available (PC version as well, or so I was told) this year.

Also Lampe is on the roster, and he just signed with a team in Russia. They need to update the rosters, there have been significant signings, Jumaine Jones for the Suns is a fairly big signing.

Maceo Baston isn't on Indiana's Roster.

Andrew are you sure there will be official updates?? I think if there will be updates their will be worse than Yours Andrew
Mon Sep 25, 2006 10:17 pm
That's what I've been told so as far as I know, they intend to release some official updates.
Mon Sep 25, 2006 10:20 pm
It will be nice to see some official updates with all cyberfaces.
Tue Sep 26, 2006 1:06 am
Man just thinking about all the manual updates I'm going to have to do on the PS2 is making my head spin!
I'm real dissapointed that Hassan Adams and Mile Ilic aren't in the game either, but oh well cut-off dates are cut-off dates ='[...
If anyone would be kind enough to post the stats for missing players when updates are made to the game (how often are official updates released for the console versions anyway?) I would greatly appreciate it

to those who have the game, what is the official roster cutoff date for PC?

Considering that Garbajosa was signed by the Raptors on July 24th and not in the PC game, I'm assuming the cut-off date is July 24th, though EA might put "August 1st" somewhere.

I'm not trying to be an ass here but they also said there will be signature jumpshots, we'll just have to wait and see...

Well in any event, I'm just passing on what was told to me. As you said, we'll just have to wait and see what happens there.

EA should keep the roster cutoff as is, but release a roster update on the games release.
Wed Sep 27, 2006 5:55 pm
Roster cutoff date is July 27th from the loading screens.
Wed Sep 27, 2006 6:00 pm
Man, thats very very very early.
Wed Sep 27, 2006 6:05 pm
EA is wrong about the photos and videos. The screen sais all photos/videos used are from the 2005-2006 season, but the Tracy McGrady highlights video shows his 13 points comeback which was in the 2004-2005 season. But it probably doesn't matter becaused they used old video of Kobe when he had the afro, too. Check those highlights out, they are pretty cool.
