Hmmm... i just watched these videos and i,m a bit dissapointed indeed. These 360 dunks T-mac is doing are funny and look pretty fake. I do hope that the curent gen will play much better and be way less jerky than this one. The moves they put certainly appeal more to an arcade player than people who like sims.
Anyway i shall wait to play it first than to judge.

Talkin' about graphics the court'S reflections are so sharpen... we could say that they play on ICE the 2k7 reflections are way better.

i don't pay much attention to these vids, cause the endgame is always finetuned like the producer said. The choppyness will be gone and gameplay can only be evaluated when a large ammoun tof REAL gamers
have played it and have understood the game well.

pretty sure people didn't know what they were doing with the controller. when you're backing someone down, let go of backdown and move the left stick, the player will spin towards the direction the left stick is in. they unfortunately moved Yao into the baseline.

If they fix that, the game will be GREAT!! Plus the gameplay looked kinda slow. . .I wanna play a demo of this. The EA producer said a demo should be on Xbox (360) Live within the next few weeks. .

man I had been moving towards NBA Live the last year or two but after seeing those IGN vids ive hopped my ass right back on the next gen NBA 2K7 bandwagon. Ill stick with live for current gen because those next gen gameplay vids are horrible. I laughed so hard at the part with raymond felton and he missed that wide open layup how retarded it looked. The first dunk in the all star game video had me laughing really hard. lol @ Jason Williams in the vid.

Only reason this is Nba-Live.com is because 2K is not accessable for PC = DDD.

Man, how are they able to release this ? It isn't even decent. Where are the gameplay improvements ?. At least the current-gen version looks pretty well. I won't buy Live 07 for XBOX360, no way. I'm tired of all your games even when they're not good enough, just because of "tradition". For PC I will acquire one of those security-copies around the internet, but the 360 one... forget about getting my money. I won't pay those programmers.

Is there a reason they can't make the players dribble without doing a waist high machine gun dribble? I can't stand that. Also the passing still needs work. I can't say there's anything that stands out to me in the games, I'll need to see more to be overly interested.

I honestly think that EA should fire the crew that made last two NBA Live, last year EA admit that the live wasnt that good so whay did they let them mess it up again. 2k7 looks and feel much better, too bad because I used to buy Live every year as soon as it would come out. This year, forget it.

Player movements are so CHOPPY!!! I mean, the shots, the layups, the dunks...so choppy, and abnormal.

I agree. I'm sorry but have you seen 2k's play of the day between lakers and cavs. Looking good.

Guys remember this, 2K7 made signature shots, EA tried, 2K7 added personality, EA got blown in the wind.

Personality, that's all I have to say, makes this game 10x better.

2K7 will be awsome, the only thing that is not good is the menus (presentation)

I'm starting to agree with this, I just wish EA would switch the Tiburon team onto NBA Live because they have done so much for Madden, they've nearly perfected the game and have run out of new things to put into it. As a result, they have the best selling football game, no questions asked. NBA Live is nowhere near that. I don't have much respect for EA Canada

Jeez I have never seen complaining as bad as this on any sports game boards and I am a member of a Smackdown forum . Sheesh y'all should know by now never to listen to EA's pre-completion rambling about how much better the game is this year until you personaly play it. Also rememebr people this is the same IGN that don't know how to use the Vision Cone in Madden, and they don't know how to use the whole movement grapple thingy in Smackdown 07 you don't expect them to play a basketballl game properly do you? I take all this stuff with an open mind and I only close it ater a few hours of playing.

About the graphics, how can they use all of the X360's powers right away! the very first XBox games were appalling graphics wise. All of you are expecting them to put up almost real life graphics, Its basketball people!It moves at such a fast speed almsot real life graphics would be impossible rigt now.

well obviously, but even a few years back with 2k still in it, MAdden was still THE cutting-edge football game and THE football game to buy with new features like the minicamp and owner mode, etc. etc.
