For all we know that person could be a hugely biased NBA Live fan who thought NBA Live 06 was a perfect sim bball game. I'll not reading anything into that post, I'm just gunna wait for Andrew
the collision animations are really going to set this game apart from 2k....

I found that funny cause 2k6 already has very good collision animations that look way better than the ones seen in the NBA Live 07 preview videos. But I guess those were just previews, I bet you that guy has never played a game of 2k6.

What 2k6 was you playing the collision detection in 2k6 suck its to easy to just run in circles and dunk Live 06 on the 360 has the best collision detection in any sports game to date.

What does running in circles have to do with collision detection? And you actually enjoyed Live 06 on the 360??

How much is EA paying this guy to be part of their hype machine? I want andrew to come back so we can get some proper, objective opinions.

Yes, Andrew will definitely give a proper assessment of what he's taken in during his trip. (Y)

I enjoy playing Live on the 360; especially the practice gym with other people.

I would rather play nextgen Live 06 then playing the current-gen without patches.
Opinions are my own.

Promising post. I think this year both 2k and Live will be worth buying as opposed to last year. The only thing you could might say 2k has that live doesn't is signature moves for every starter. Maybe they do have it, dunno for sure until the game comes out but it hasn't been something talked about so yea.

Anyway, exciting new era for bball sims I think. Upcoming years seem very promising. :D

I dont know if it's just me or anyone else have this feeling - you CAN'T see the real problem with the game when you first playing it.
I mean sometimes you have to spent more time get into the game to find out where the scratches are. I think that's why EA always makes the graphic advancement their priority every year (At least we will be shocked at the very beginning).
So when i see this fellow said "ALL OF THE ISSUES HAVE BEEN FIXED. I can honestly say that i don't have a single gripe about the game...." and he might just play the game for hours in few days, that's really not convincible.
and i believe while they tried out the game, one or two EA staff are whisper to them try to cover something and overstate the improvement. that does effect one's opinion.
About those features and fixed-issue he mentioned in his comment, He didn't even mark which part is refer to current-gen or Next-gen.
so as i mentioned above, i still doubt if LIVE07 will satisfy us who didn't attend the event. However, if Andrew also makes positive recap about the game, maybe i wont have to try 2K7 this year. :)
I am looking forward to the day that NBA Live would become playable again...

Yep exactly. I've lost count of the amount of games I've thought were awesome after I first played them, but gradually you notice alot of different problems. Exact same thing happened to people with Live 06.

it's funny i knew the game sucked the minute i started playing and my players started slipping and sliding all over the court.

yeah I know what you mean... I remembered the first few times I played 06, I thought it was "perfect" and everything was "fixed"... I noticed the ridiculous blocking from 2005 was toned down, but the nI started to notice after playing for months that rebounding was pretty bad and the freestyle superstar moves were cheap.

When i first got the game i thought it was great, thought it fixed the problems, and made a good game. But later on i saw players shooting layups behind the backboard for an out of bounds call, and other things that didnt make sense.

I really hope they fix it so when you come out of halftime and start the 3rd quarter, that you have the starting lineup you started the game with out there. It got annoying when they would put who you had on the court in the closing seconds of the 2nd quarter out there to start the 2nd half, unless you changed it by yourself. And what was with the roster screen, live 05 showed every player on the roster, all 15. Then in 06 they show only like the top 9 players? That was annoying too.

Bugs that you couldn't see from the beginning:

1) Automatic layup if you do the up and under thing under the basket.

2) Layup hitting back of backboard.

3) Ridiculous superstar moves.

4) No fatigue on ranked games in online mode.

5) Three from the corner with perfect release point is always good.

6) Default sliders way too screwy.

7) Rebounding in general, as well as blocking.

 Those are what I look to be fixed, as well as better AI and Dynasty Mode.

Yeah i hope they fix that "superman block" where someone will fly over your back out of no where to swat your shot.
