Want to be in the official '07 guide? Author needs fan input

he may be the Author, but that doesn't mean he needs to spell perfectly-that's what the editor is for.

I sended one for the Nuggets. Its mostly from offseason 03 when I started follwing them.

haha. thanks and good lookin' out. yeah, trust me i proofread my work before i submit. i don't tend to do so on forums very often. (as you can see, i dont cap my "i's" or punctuate every "don't") i figure they are forums; who cares, right?

so if you dont see a team up there, i dont have a fan blurb for it. i highly encourage people to submit if you havent. (even if you already see the team up there. i want to know what you have to say about your team) remember, talk about WHY you like them, not just what happens in the off-season.

I'm not sure i know what you mean exactly. Where are these blurbs going? In the Team screen of NBA Live? Or in the game manual?

I believe they'll be going in a Prima guide.

I like the idea of the fans input a lot and i have sent in some entries, but i don't think the guide will be out here in the netherlands. i have yet to see a guide here. The only guides i have seen are for fighting games.

has this expired? No official word from Fernando but it seems like the deadline would be close for sep 26 release.

In an email he mentioned he wouldn't be taking any past the Monday I said I'd be gone... so whenever the long weekend in August was, that was the last time for submittals.

Hey Everyone

Ok, so I have some very bad news. Due to legal issues that required every submittant to sign a release doc for their blurb, we are unable to include them in this year's guide. Truth be told, we had everything going as planned, but ran short with time. The guide is with EA now waiting on approval, sans fan submissions. However, this has opened the door for future books (with better planning of course), so keep your eyes peeled.

I'm sorry for the let down, but rest assured, no one is more bummed out about this than I.
