Maybe they aren't done making the game.

or maybe all this is an arrangement with M$, $ony and game developers to start half assing everything for their old consoles in order to boost next-gen sales.

lol. . this looks like 06, but with better animation!! I'ts good they kept the same game play and just added some exta stuff. Too bad foot planting isn't on current gen. Either way I'm getting a 360 cause I know they put more effort into it. . .I HOPE

The kid playing with Miami had no idea he had to press the pass button to inbound the ball 5 second violation twice. Judging by the way they played, I don't think we should read too much into it. One thing I liked was how far the ball bounced off the rim when He shot the 30 footer. I saw a couple collision/contact animations, one looked new and the other one was the "bump" from 06, but it still looks like you lose control of your player for that moment. I really hope they aren't done developing.

It's probably really hard to fix sliding on a current generation system. They are supposed to have it fixed for PS3 along with those new facial expressions.

man that's a dissapointment after reading that other 3 page article on IGN :?
It didnt look anything special at all, in game play and whats with the 5 sec inbounding violations? Who was playing it....geez :| The dribbling still looked so easy instead of it looking like the playing is bouncing the ball (Y) And i didnt notice anything with this foot planting thing :|

I believe the footplanting is for PS3. That's why in one video they were showing how they could do foot planting on the PS3 comparing it to the sliding in Playstation 2.

still, there are sports games that have proper physics for current gen.

it's not that there are hardware limitations to do it from scratch. the sad truth is that what they did is keeping the same flawed engine for about 4 years and just tweaked it to the point where it's not blatantly obvious but still horrible.

Yea but i just watched videos of nba 2k7 and it looked really top notch because of the smooth animations and gameplay. I have been playing live since live '99 so im going to try out another game cause im sick of playing live,Just my 2 cents.

I prefer to play a more slow paced game and live certainly is not going in that direction.

NBA 2k7 looks pretty cool on XBOX360. Chech some of the videos out.

That is amazing. I haven't seen much of NBA Live 07 on the XBOX360, so I can't compare yet.

I love watching that E3 stage demo of 2k7, I've seen it like 5 times already. I'm really looking forward to the on the fly subs, I think it will slow down the pace of the game for users more, and I can't wait to start a chicago association on 2k7.

I'm not all that bothered by the videos. I did notice some sliding but as far as the gameplay is concerned I don't like to draw too many conclusions from videos since the action greatly depends on the people playing the game.

Why did they have some beginers playing the game? They should have showed us cpu vs. cpu.

again, disappointing. Let's not talk about the gameplay, we know nothing yet since they used some kids for footage. The dunks are still the same, unrealistic, nobody is going to stop Wade. Poor dunkpack system, Dirk doing a glitch
