Live 07 or 2K7???

now that Tmacs on the cover i think i might buy live for PC
and Live for ps2 to save it in my TMac shrine!!! lol but serously
the guy is my idol! so its a nice choice what Nba live did.

DOnt down the fella and theres a very few amount of people
who would "want to be like mike" and also make it happen,
I mean look at the guys awards...let me see anyone else
have that...exactly and its been a tough year for him with
all the deaths so he must be pretty happy now.

With the procedural Awareness and Foot planting how can you go against Live?. It's gonna feel more like a basketball game!! I might still get 2k7 but Live is where it's at!! (Y)

Personally, Im going to get Live for PC so i can enjoy the patches that guys around here make. I'll also get Live AND 2K7 for the 360 because i believe that both games have their good points.

Live: Have followed this series since the start...loyalties aside, Im interested in seeing how they use the ESPN branding. And personally I thought Live 06 looked cleaner and more realistic than 2K6 on the 360.

2K7: Aiming for every players unique shooting style(!!!). I like the idea of players burning out as the season goes along. I actually enjoy 2K6's association mode better than any of Live's Dynasty modes. PLUS, 2K6 had the MLE (or at least a variation of it which allowed signing players below 5 million whilst over the cap) and I can only assume that it'll stay.

Looking forward to both.

I would go for 2k7 unless EA improve the graphics for PS2 version. But for next gen version, both 2k7 and Live 07 will have a tough competition.. (Y)

Why do the majority choose NBA 2k7 or 2k6 on console over pc than live 07 or 06?

I haven't played either of them on PC ever so I would just like some info from you guys.

Most of the people only like NBA Live because it's available for PC, and because you can mod it and make patches. If 2k6 & 2k7 were available for PC, then most would pick them over 2k games.

I'm with 2K7, but i live in Australia, and you all know how screwed over we got. 9 months overdue i think? 8? WHATEVER! We still had to wait a while. I'll be getting Live just because it'll be out before 2K7 and because i need to feed my NBA hunger :lol:

so its nba 2k7 hands down

I am a nba live fan but live06 on xbox was too unrealistic and live06 on xbox360 was boring and the camera angles sucked

I agree, the camera angles and letters for Live 06 on 360 sucked. They really have to improve the camera angle. Why can't they keep it old school???? Just give us a camera angle that we can see everything with!!!

yea i read the 2k7 reviews and its not really nothing new, that they didnt have last year, except for signature shots.......but if you watch the videos of 2k7 you will notice that they all shoot the same from the free throw line...whch is wack, because the form is ugly ass hell.......so, from what i read live 07 is ahead of 2k7 right now

I can't believe I'm saying this........I will of course be getting NBA Live 07 on the PC. I will however be getting NBA 2K7 on the 360. It just moves so much more fluid on the videos and the players will have actual signature moves and shots ingame. I downloaded the NBA Live 06 demo from Xbox Live and although the graphics were nice the gameplay was horrid, worse than the PC. I've always been a Live junkie. I've played Live since 98 on the PC and since Live 95 on Sega. NBA 2K7 is my choice for now on 360, unless Live makes a real next gen game that plays much more realistic. Hopefully Live 07 on the PC will take advantage of my computer hardware otherwise I might not play it as much as my 360.

so Live 07 is ahead of 2K7 because of the fucking free throw shooting animations? Jesus. You haven't read any 2K7 reviews, and do you know how I know you're lying? Because there are alot of differences besides signature shots... which by the way is also wrong, because there are over 200 individual shooting styles. I suggest you read this thread:

i know they got alot of individual shootin styles, but they still shoot the same when they get to free throw lin, which is ugly ass hell.......live 07 is goin to be better, because of the espn intergration, which 2k7 is not goin to have.....and the freestyle superstars and all star weekend and the fact that they have hidden news for the next gen, gives me the idea that nba live 07 will be better than 2k7 on next gen...because 2k7, dont even have news about the current gen..

don't want to sound too harsh on live but most so called additions for live are actually already implemented on the 2k series for a while. also still no news about MLE and stuff.

also, who cares about free throw shooting styles.... unless all you want to do is dunk or get sent to the line, the jump shooting style is way more important.

free style superstars may either be good or bad... i really prefer not having the choice to do that overpowered move repeatedly to try and beat the comp.

all in all it doesn't matter how many new features they implement if the crazy catchup logic contested 3-pointer spamming feast and ice skating is still there.
