What's amazing is that this thread, and this board overall is filled with warnings each time someone like you mentions illegal copies and no-cd crack, yet you still have the candor (to stay polite) to ask this question.

hmmm mine stopped at 75% saying the "screens.viv" is not old. Is this because i used a patch to get the save stats button to show up, or does other get this aswell that didnt use that patch?

I got the same same thing. I extracted the original screens.viv from the DVD, and installed the patch again. Worked fine.

BUT, the subs aren't working for me. I played two 10 minute quarters with fatigue on and CPU subs at 80 or 85. Few guys on the opposite team were totally out of fatigue by the end of the first, but still weren't subbed. Even not in the end of the second period.

The only issue Im having with this is the computer assistance is on, even though it is turned off in options.

You have to get the original nbalive07.exe file and then install the patch and then put the no-cd crack back on. Too bad my game isnt illgel

So, are all the bugs fixed for you, or are they still there??

I got the stam on off button..So the patch is installed..

The game still doesn't sub right..@ Players palyed all but 3 min in a blow-out for the cpu..I've tried several types of games.

I had the cpu win my 80 pts..@ players finally went out with 3 min left, but the Starting C & PF came back in with 2 min left..My players seem to sub ok, just the CPU players don't.

I played close games with 4 pts and the CPU team had 3 players that never came out.My players subed except 2 of them.

The PG seems to be even more stronger now..

I wonder if i have to put Jimmy's patch in the game again, does anybody know?I mean i installed it, then patched the agme.Do i need to nstall it again?

Maybe the fact that we need to tune down some of the players in the game might be it. Their rating i mean for getting tired..Stamina rating i mean..

Looks like EA just repackaged last's game with a couple extra Dunks and some more Tats..The sound announcers are the same, same lines they say. I really believe that EA will soon stop making PC games. Tiger Woods is the same as this game.Really nothing new except menu's.

I hope they can get a ggod patch that works better then this one..PG's seem to always score at least 40 pts.

How could they have fixed the PG domination issue if they haven't even officially released a patch?

I think this is a beta patch. Their game testers suck or maybe they don't even have one. They let this beta go on public, so we hardcore EA fans can test it for them without paid. I can't even get this patch to work. I have the EA downloader version.

The patch works great for me subbing is as it should be, the pg dominance for the most part is gone, the only thing i get now is way too many missed shots, i dunno i have tried different slider settings to no avail, i have like kobe going 4 for 24 and okur going 2 for 17 and i'm doing 8 min qtrs and getting final scores of like 65 to 63 and lower anybody have any suggestions on how to get better shot accuracy?

They had to have been testing it, the new exe is dated October 12th, one day before the date on the readme.txt file. I'm assuming that it only works for people who have the North American DVD version, because in the link it sais "EN-US". When its officially released they will either have different versions for each region or one that works on all regions.

I agree with you man, the testers' names on the game's credit page doesn't look like they know what they are playing. EA should take this forum's MODs as their testers so no flaws will be visible in the game.[/quote]

Absolutely. The sole fact that I had to do all that .exe shuffling pretty much seals the deal that this patch is not optimized for the EA Downloader version (or not optimized at all, yet..). Someone brought up a good point that the FTP location has a subdirectory of QA, which to all of my knowledge stands for quality assurance.

Interestingly enough, we got our hands on this pre-official release build of it, and we're taking part of this quality assurance process regardless if EA knows about it or not.

Are you using Jimmy's aiact? I had this problem with the low cpu percentages too. i havent had time to play the patch without the edited aiact(Im at work). But Ill check it out when I get home or something. I had no problems whatsoever with the installation or the subbing patterns after installing. Quite satisfied ATM, which in itself is a shame...

I haven't tried the patch but as what I can see with NBA Live 07's higher AI rating, player's will have lower chance of scoring if you push him too hard to score. I notice that the first day I played the game, everytime I run the court without setting a play I always miss the basket. But when I set up the play and not hurry too much I have big chance of making the basket. Also getting away from your defender as far as possible will make jump shots more accurate. Hope that helps man.

What rosters are u using?

I'm stiil getting 3 CPU players playing the whole game?

I using settings of 100% for subs setting.

I'm still wondering if it's because the players stam is too high in my rosters.

The PG thing still sucks..I think i'm using Jimmy patch..I haveen't re patch the game with it..

Just wished the darn game would play a little bit real is all. 40 bucks for nothing is how i feel.

Well when i had it just the patch without jimmys fix i had a game that was pretty normal score 104- 97 but severe pg domination deron williams had 49 pts but then i put jimmys 3.0 fix and yes the pg dom sorta seemed fixed i mean they didn't have rediculous amount of points but did take quite a few shots still, but with his fix i get no scores higher than 65 pts a game. so i can't quite figure that part out. Edit P. S. I am using jimmys 1.8 roster which seems pretty damn good actually.

For me it did!

no PG domination, CPU subbs normally and some little things also

good for you....mine works with regard to the subbing....in fact i love the way the computer uses the bench players....but the only problem with the patch for me right now is still the PG dominance. how did it work for you? was there some tweaking involved to achieve the non pg dominance?

Mine never changed it still is the date i installed the game Nov 5th
