I dont know whether im allowed to say this, so i wont give links or anything. But i had the quit to desktop problem with a legally owned copy of NBA Live. So i got a no-cd crack and now it works perfectly.

okay, i don't really want to get a no-cd crack...its against my ethics, and i wouldn't really know where to get one anyway (without risking virus). i bought the product from ea, and they should have addressed it.

as far as i know it only happens when you press quit game. If this is true i dont really have a big problem with it. It has never happened to me. If this happened during playing a game out of nowhere then i would have a problem with it.

Well, this is a big problem actually...how do you expect to play in dynasty mode, if you can't return to the game menu after playing a game?!?!

I know this was mentioned on the copy of the petition that I signed, why wasn't it addressed by ea? ANDREW-why did you have us post our system specs regarding this issue, if they were gonna ignore it anyway? not trying to sound angry at you,? I do appreciate all the work you've done. Its just that this is the one issue that really prevents A LOT OF PEOPLE (not just me) from enjoying the game at all...

I only get the crash when I press the upper right hand X.

And even then, it happens 50% of the time.

i don't know if this is the right page but regarding the bug where in direct pass is a problem, actually four buttons are locked to each player for direct pass.

Pass button: Center (opposed to NBA 06's Rebound button for Center)
Layup button: Power Forward
Dunk Button: Small Forward (opposed to NBA 06's Pass button for SF)
Shoot button: shooting guard

When I first played NBA Live 07 I disregarded the texts above player's head that indicates the right button to press to make a direct pass. I just follow the buttons above and familiarize my player's appearance. I just thought it might help.

Because they asked if I could collect that information in an effort to resolve the problem. Beyond that, it's out of my hands. I will be bringing it up again though.

OK, I think you've made your point. It's been established a patch is in the works and nearing completion. We do not have an exact release date yet but it would seem it's not far off.

no mention of that primacy problem? thats whats keeping me from enjoying this game. its annoying to have 3rd rate point guards score 35 on a good defense.

you can fix that yourself. use the aiact patch version 3. and change the primacys for every team. its not that hard to do. i did that for every team, and it costed me 2 hours. you don't have to do that for everyone, but it's important to change the primacys for scoring pg like harris, terry, parker, nash, and so on. and change the primacys for the superstars, and higher them. lebron has 63 for example, and i put it to 80. his stats are 25/8/5 which is ok. z scores 15/10, hughes 16/5/4, gooden around 8/10 and snow 5 with 5 assists. the stats are ok, not perfect, but that isn't real life.

if you want, i can make some screen with my sliders, adjustments, primacy changes.

i did that for every team, and it costed me 2 hours.

While it's nice there's a "solution," as a student, I don't have a spare 2 hours to kill to make these changes I hope EA will fix that.

Ea only will fix this issues??? or they completed this fix and then will fix other issues?? I m playing dynasty mode and played 46 matches.Now I want to changed resolution 640*480 --> 600*800
.However I dont changed dynasty mode.Only changeable on main menu settings and not effect dynasty mode.Do you think ea fix issues this problem?


A list of issues the patch will address has been released!

1. Fixed missing face texture for Renaldo Balkman
2. Fixed bug allowing users to release players during FA negotiation period
3. Fixed inverted text bug for direct pass
4. Fixed last man back functionality
5. Fixed bug with substitution logic and also added the following additional functionality:

* Added a CPU substitution frequency slider
* Added a Fatigue Effect On/Off option in general gameplay options

6. Fixed bug that had the wrong jerseys showing up in 1-on-1 and Freestyle game modes
7. Added functionality to view "average" stats
8. Added functionality to allow user to save stats in gameplay

You can change the resolution in dynasty mode's settings menu or can't you ? I haven't checked it yet

You cant change Detail settings in dynasty mode. Which is the most spasticated thing I've heard since "inbounding is working perfectly because the inbound plays make YOU having to receive the ball... even if you're a PF/C"

Are they fixing the "First Step" bug??, where using the freestyle buttons out of a stationary position leads to a free style move, instead of simply blowing by the defender using the first step (like last year's version).

Q. Jab steps (and other pivot moves) triggers a freestyle move.

A: This also is working as designed. The right analog controls a player's freestyle dribbling while the left analog controls a player's movement. If the left analog is moved while using the right analog a player will transition from a jab step to a dribble move (Freestyle move).
