Why did Ginobli only play 10 mins?

alright , i will try.

The algorithm is that when we a X-factor player is activated and for a player either Xfactor or not on fire.............

the team will keep them in the court................to keep their hand fire!

and thats the algorithm i introduced in this FIX 4.0 and work together with my roster 1.9

and i will investigate this algorithm better in the next version(though it is not bad now)

it is normal to keep a heat-hand player on the court, right?^_^

Absolutely, I just noticed that you had changed back to the original AIACT and I was just wondering why? Have you experimented with changing the team's strategy of defense. Not using a zone (not very realistic) but finding one of the man to man's that stops the PG dom and causes plays to be set?

Well, it seems a bit low right here (only five 3pts attempts), don't you think?
Other than that, looks pretty realistic, good job (Y)

Nevermind what I said about having the original AIACT. I think it is more effective with the settings you included. I made the mistake of trying to mix the AIACT with my sliders. I tried it with your new ones and was rather impressed. (Y)

Hmmm, that kinda answers my question above: this is only effective if I keep your sliders.
I took me a while to find sliders and settings that I like, so I'll wait til a patch from EA (hopefully) fixes this issue.

You can always back up your settings by renaming them in the settings folder in Windows. What I do then is try Jimmy's and alter them until they work well with my computer and my style of play.

Everybody's will be a little different because of the type of computer they have and the settings they prefer. I've already altered his new one's a little to fix up my gameplay a little bit and I'm starting to like the numbers I'm getting and the type of shots that are being taken.

I hope that the EA patch will fix these issues, but I am not real optimistic it will fix anything more than the list of items they presented.

Thanks for the answers to my questions..

I really like the way the game plays now, seems alot more real.Pg is still a ball hog, but not nearly as much.

I did try a CPU VS CPU game it was subing just right until the 3rd quarter when one pg went to corner nd the Center came out on him with 4 and half min left ..everyone cleared out and he just stay there the 24 second clock never even went off..Well anyway 4 and half min later the quarter was over.Another bug for the great programers and beta testers at EA to not fix and overlook.

But Jimmy thanks so much for all your hard work and time you put in in making this game at least playable now.

everyone cleared out and he just stay there the 24 second clock never even went off..

That might be because of a bug that this patch caused, at least for me: for some strange reason, it turned off the 24 sec clock in the rules (as well as the traveling), but you can turn it on again.

Just go in the "rules" section in "options", and if you're "lucky" it'll be off so you just have to turn it on again. Check the other rules in case the patch messed them up too, like it did for me.

I don't know if this is something already posted or where to post it. Hopefully Andrew will see this and tell someone at EA.

When i turned the 24 second clock and traveling back on..My sub problem was back again..yup it subs but the main 3 guys again play almost the whole game for both teams. Both teams play only 3 or 4 subs for just a few min. I play 5 games and this is the way it was.

When turning them off again..They sub all 12 or 11 sometimes and min was split up between players..

I'm using Jimmy's(GREAT) patch 4.0 and JIMMY's(AWESOME) Roster 1.9 using fatigue ones..

Looks like to me that 24 second clock and travelling have something to do with it

Oh yah i'm also using the patc(SO CALLED) from EA

I hope i found something that can used to fix this game.

Also sorry Jimmy i posted here in your Patch thread please forgive me

I noticed that Nesterovic and Bosh didn't start the game and they put Graham (who sure doesn't fit that position) and Sow instead, so what's the point here?

Jimmy's fix is great! I used Cleveland and played against the Bulls....Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich and Nocioni were torching the net especially in the 2nd half. Ben Wallace had 10pts but grabbed 18 rebounds. Kirk Hinrich had 9 assists.

I also tried playing Miami and vs. the Kings, The Kings were really passing the ball, Mike Bibby had 10 assists and 22 pts, Artest had 25 pts and 8 rebs, Kevin Martin had 14 pts, Brad Miler had 18 pts and 12 rebs....so I think the patch works ok.

But too bad the subs ain't working for me although I have installed the patch. But Jimmy's fatigued roster really worked, before, the guards are not getting fatigued now they became fatigued as hell...nice work Jimmy!

Jimmy, I don't like this original EA aiact.
For future release, please keep working on your own aiact
because I think it improves the gameplay very much (Y)

I played against LA Clippers using Jimmy's 4.0 and Pat Livingston took almost 40% of the shots. I played an 8-minute game and he passes very frequent. I don't really care about the sub bug because when I play I think of my self as the coach of the team so I don't want auto subs.

I am looking forward for more of your work Jimmy. Thank you for the effort!!! (Y)

^^When you copy files to your database and saves folder, be sure to reload your roster in the game.

I created some alternate settings and altered the teams file in a way that I think is very, very good. My changes were made to Jimmy's originals. All credit goes to Jimmy for his ideas and constant work.

Basically, I set up the sliders in a way that I thought led to a more realistic. game.
Just take settings.dat and put in MyDocuments\NBALive07\settings folder. You should rename the existing one as settingsbak.dat, in case you don't like mine.

With the teams file, I set each team as Shuffle for their offensive strategy. By doing this it leads to no PG domination, and is very effective towards the CPU running plays mapped out in the Jimmy's playmap.

If you would like Jimmy you can use this in anyway you see fit. I urge people to try this! It is fantastic.

Be sure to put the teams.dbf in currentdb, originaldb, workingdb, and rostersave folders. And backup if you wish.
