We should agree on the language and the list of our grievances, acquire a prominant initial number of signatures, then present it. The we can keep gathering signatures and keep submitting it to EA. Of all the things said in this thread so far, this statement should not be ignored. As it's the only action that makes sense.
While Donatello's and Jackal's emails put forth great points, these actions wont get us anywhere. We can send emails to the individuals of the EA team and let them know how pissed we are, and why they suck, and all the rest. But the only way we'll be heard is if we hit them as a company.
You know how it is: Power in numbers. Benji's idea of a press release is our best bet of getting any sort of results. They can't ignore us if it's all over the "internet media". Our forum rants and level-minded emails are not powerful enough.

I really think we should start a petition to see whether we should persue a lawsuit
misrepresented and falsely advertised features within the game that were CLEARLY only XBOX 360 related

I do want to state for the record that in my 'negative' post up there, I am by no means speaking on behalf of anyone but MYSELF. Not for the moderation team, not for the NLSC community, just speaking for myself.
I am not going to send any more Emails to EA unless they send me another one first. And if I do reply, it will be in the same professional manner I introduced myself in, because I will be representing the rest of this site whether I want to or not.
I am not reposting the quote out of respect for Andrew, since it could (probably would) reflect badly on him since he's the webmaster.
Lastly, I'd truly like to ask that this doesn't turn into a total "Bash EA fest". I'm sure it will, I just want to note that it was never my intention.

First of all, thank you for your email. I want to stress something first before I say what I have to say. I am not the spoiled brat kid who is pissed about not liking a video game like you may think. I'm a professional adult who has happened to enjoy the NBA Live series for years.
Along those lines, I want you to know that I am no longer speaking on behalf of that fansite (nba-live.com), I am speaking for myself only. Please understand that.
Disclaimers out of the way, now... on to my real response.
I emailed you guys on behalf of the community. You responded to the community. So why would you (EA) want me to remove the quote of the email? Possibly because it makes you look terrible, honestly. (I did remove the quote by the way, but only out of respect for the webmaster.)
"Regardless of whether or not these issues can be addressed in this year's product, it's helpful feedback as we begin work on next year's game."
These problems with the game are NOT small issues. And there is no way they could have not been seen during testing. Sure, a patch for the PC can probably fix them, but the Ps2 and X-Box (original) versions can't exactly be patched.
The computer does NOT substitute players, no matter how fatigued they get. That means after about 1 1/2 quarters, you are playing against zombies who can hardly move, because their fatigue is so low. Except for the point guard of course, who takes every shot and scores every point.
Rookies retiring after one year of dynasty mode..... 82 games being the only option in Dynasty mode.... player lock doesn't work properly....
I won't relist the rest of the "bug list", as I'm sure you've seen it (hopefully, anyway). I'd honestly choose your words carefully, because your company's previous reponses in both words and actions are truly upsetting alot of people.
You released a faulty product which damn near borders on false advertisement. I'd like a real response from you please, not a pushover, cut-and-paste-cookie-cutter customer service reponse.
Thank you for your time, and hopefully for your reply.

sure sounds like there are better things to spend my 45 - 50 euros on...
maybe EA doesn't care about if one user does or does not buy their game, but I would not underestimate the power of this forum. Maybe the real core community here is only 200 or maybe 500 users ... but there can be thousands of users who just come and visit like me, to read about interesting roster patches or news on upcoming releases...
just to make sure, I don't want to promote a boycot until EA releases a patch or something like that... I think everyone should make that decision for himself / herself... I just did...

paragraph two: sorry i didn't make it nice and tidy for anyone, so don't read it if you don't want to. hell delete it if it's that bad. people want something done about the problems with the game and you're worried about grammar. i typed it as i felt it, not so the president could read his address to the nation from it. it's a message board in a thread about a video games problems. ignore it or pick up the hobbit and read paragraphs. ea would appreciate that more anyway.
paragraph three: not meant to offend, but i really wasn't thinking about how the damned thing looked nor what anyone thought of it, since if i wasted my time to type it perfectly and sent it to a publisher to proofread and then posted it, someone would find reason to comment on how proper it was. what difference does it really make? if someone wants to read it in all it's ugliness they will, those who don't won't. other than that was there anything else in there that personally offended you?

I don't think this is the thread to start crafting such a thing, I'm just floating the idea here.

As for Phillipino's, I feel sorry for people like Shadowgrin who get caught up in my jokes, but the good thing is he knows I'm making fun of the stereotype and not him, but thats way off topic.

I sure hope this thread hasn'r hurt anyones feelings at EA. I mean they are ordinary human being who can't do their "Dream job" right. I'd be embarrassed if I did somthing "i loved" as bad as they have made NBA live over the past 5 years. Then they play the whole "we have feelings" card and can't even own upto their mistakes. Typical Canadians (oooh there goes another racist remark).
But seriously, I cant be fucked caring anymore. I'll just continue playing nba 2k until the entire team ate EA Canada jump off a cliff or I get sick of basketball. I don't see NBA Live ever improving while these leeches contrinue to destroy the legacy of NBA video games.
