There were people that went "oh, Live 06 isn't so good, watch them explode with 07". Footplanting? Whoo fucking hoo. It is the fans that keep making excuses for EA and in return EA gives you a shoddy product for you to make more excuses for them. Oh, Live 08 will suck and then we'll say now wait and watch, they will re-introduce layups in Live 09.
All the while EA goes, hmm, add footplanting & remove subbing, you win some, you lose some. Ha ha.
I'm yet to find an answer as to why the in game saves from Live 2000 were removed.
