No option to do that during the course of the game. I'll look again after the game.
In dynasty, you can still save Stats

i didn't dare to check all, but i saw the portraits of bargniani, jasikevicius, and lampe. not sure about the rest.

For some, they use the cyberface as the portrait, like this one:
