i actually was very aware of color...and believe me, the way it looks ingame doesn't need to be at least more red...and i failed to make it orange, because everytime i tried to adjust color, it became either green or yellow...or pink....but none of the orange variations i got satisfied me...

Just curious if that Spalding leather ball is ever going to be released. It looks awesome.

i could release retro legends, but nobody is going to use them anyway...if some IRPT or NLSC roster wants to include those retro legends in their rosters, i will supply them with the faces and portraits i made of those legends....

as for scoreboard and balls...you know...there's only one thing that keeps me off releasing those patches - another rip-off...my patches have always been ripped throughout the years, because they are way too difficult than another 17th version of kobe or 46th version of wade...so then they use such patches "as a base", spend little time, "adjust" little things, and release as their completely genuine and authorized work...not minding that i spent hours and hours when making such a patch (especially alligning of the scoreboard)...so whoever wants those patches may thank to "as a base" users and blame them that i don't release patches...

there are way too many examples -
- glen's headshape is used "as a base", but only little things are tweaked....
- glen's headshape is used with custom bhed (improvement on the final result is none - it's even often terrible because of non-blended bhed)
- glen's headshape is used, but the fact is not noted anywhere and "author" claims he made everything on his own....

and a lot more examples. jimmy's lightning being "modified" (ripped off), pdub's stuff being ripped off..and a lot more...i don't want to share my quality work to those idiots. sorry..

UltraNix, I guess I totally understand your point of view.
I just wanted to say, that for me, the greatest enjoyment of live 07 IS playing with retro rosters (especially Tony's 91-92) and I just spent about 4-5 hours this night getting the shoes correct in the game for that old school look.
So it's really a pity you won't release any of your work (especially the vintage scoreboard, man that would really be IN MY GAME).
I guess this won't change your mind, but just to let you know that your patches àre well appreciated and admired. And I would use them too !
Anyway, if there 's a chance you would want to share them for individual use, just contact me.
Otherwise : just great work man, awesome...

actually, the previews reveals his ideas to all the patchers here.
people may be 'inspired' by the previews and make their own patch.

Ultranix has his own concerns not releasing 'his own' patches,
and I don't think that he's done anything 'strange'.

You know unfortunately man I understand all too well where you are coming from. My courts from last year show up all over the place on the internet. All I have to do is google my screenname and I get links to all these foreign websites that credit me for some courts, but then they edit my court a little bit and my name gets stricken from the record. Example. 1 2 3 and here is a link to my patching thread from Last Year. I know for a fact that this guy is going to use my new courts in his Street mod that he is making. I have already accepted this. But I guess it doesn't bother me as much because I don't patch for the greater good of the community. I patch to make my own copy of NBA Live 07 the best it can be. I chose to release my stuff that I made last year because besides me dahl was the only other guy releasing new courts and I wanted to get more people into it. I choose to make and release stuff this year because I just truely love making patches for this damn game. I mean I don't really know how to apply this to you since you've been doing this for a lot longer than I have but just patch for yourself and maybe do 'controlled' release where you add a password to the zip file and make people PM you for the password, and by giving them the password they have to agree to not use your patch in any way shape or form without prior consent from you. And if they do just tell Andrew, they will be taken care of I'm sure .

Can't wait for the release of the Scoreboard.. And the leather-ball..
