Only feedback from you guys, after the patch has been tested, will determine whether or not i purchase this game. If its up to scratch, with all major bugs fixed, then thats enough for me. As usual the great NLSC patchers will probably take it from there...

But im so glad this game was delayed in Aus, otherwise i probably would have jumped the gun on this purchase

guys, i think gameplay and other improves cost bigger than subs problem! personaly, after playing 07, i'll never gonna play 06 or 05! trust me, when u'll click twice on 07 icon on your desktop, u'll do it every day! seriously, game hase a lot of cool additions, and u need to feel it yourself! nobody's feedback can replace this feeling!

Diddy, what game did you play? Live 07(unpatched) is a worthless piece of junk. I'm just happy that I didn't buy the game. I rent it for one day. The game itself and how it plays is not bad, I'll give you that. But what makes it absolutely unplayable are 3 things:

- Subs bug. I just don't feel like I'm in the game anymore. This is NBA jam.
- Last man tap doesn't work/direct switch is messed up - You get totally confused with the center suddenly being "pass" and the switched labels for "dunk" and "layup". I think the direct pass/switch in 06 was perfect.
- the quit game bug. I never experienced it myself, but it would make it impossible to play a dynasty.

Things that don't concern me, but are still annoying:
- only 82 games in dynasty - why would they take it out? To add realism? You start that on the court, EA! But I play 82 game dynasties anyway...
- No in-game-save - well, I've grown accustomed to the fact that I have to schedule an NBA live session when I have the time to play one full game at 12 min. But still, it would be just a tiny little feature that would make the game so much better.

I agree...If you play it everytime youll get use to it and appreciate the new features that were added. I personally like the freethrow changes and as well as its animation, also the pressbox view is better and the camera rotation is just awesome...If EA can fix the substition and point guard domination bug then this can turn out to be one of the best live ever...that's just my opinion....

i hate the free throw changes, but ive just started playing and i suppose im not used to them. the free style superstar moves are really annyoing aswell (turn the analog stick in quarter circles)

Its not worthless, hey some people paid more than 40 bucks just to see how bad it is.

But its still an good game. My friends and I are playing it during our lunch break. PSP version, 3 mins quarter. As long as you don't play more than 5 mins, don't touch the dynasty mode and don't try to compare a video game from a real NBA, then this live 07 game is pretty damn good one.

I like the free throw!!! Shaq is hitting like 80+%!!! I haven't tried ben wallace.

I know. That's why I play Madden if I like dynasty.

Live 07 = basketball arcade
Madden 07 = dynasty mode

Sure, the gameplay itself is not so bad. And I guess I could get used to the direct switch/pass thingy if I played the game for a while. But do I want to? No. I don't see why EA would take out or change features that worked great in the past and introduce crap that just doesn't work right. For example: free throws. It's ok to introduce a new free throw shooting technique. But why don't they just add it and leave the old one in the game? We should be able to choose between the two. On my computer, which is a bit below standard but still good enough to play the game, animations get very choppy when it comes to free throw shooting. So I can't time the shot and miss almost every time. It's just annoying. And don't get me started on the substitution bug. If they fix that and some other issues, I'm sure I will buy the game, because it has many great features. But those just don't cancel out all the flaws. For now, I'm back with '06.

thats because you're sad. this game has so many issues it's not funny. I hated last years game but found a way to enjoy it, I can't do it with this game.

This game does not deserve to be paid for,simple as that.

Well, your the type who plays the game by running around mashing the pass and dunk buttons only and think its an awesome game. Apparently, theres alot more class to basketball...
