It's not a bug. If he's been out for 8 weeks then he's likely not played enough games to qualify for the league leaders, just as in real life.

another thing...I think EA 4got to put prominent dribbling sounds and shoes squeeks...dribbling sounds in da is almost is almost 30 percent compared to 05 and 06...when playing the players seems like they are mere floating instead of dribbling and running....hope they fix this....

I was playing Toronto against Dallas, and I got a good amount of bugs already discussed here (no subs, PG dominating, a player who froze like in the "Kidd calls a cab" video posted earlier, failed dunks without any defense,....), but I also got a new one:
THE FUCKING GAME CRASHED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 4th QT!!!!! :evil:

I know a lot of people have had that happen when trying to exit the game, but I dunno if anyone had it while playing. I certainly didn't...
Dallas had a FT, for some reason I couldn't see the player icon anymore (the blue circle), the commentator stuttered for a couple of sec and it just crashed to desktop....

Anyone else experienced that?

this isnt a bug but just something that bugs me is how when u play a game in dynasty the computer plays a certain style, then when u quit the game and start again, the computer plays totally different.
for example, i was using raptors to play SA, first 3 minutes i get outscored where the computer drained 5 straight 3 pointers and i couldnt get a shot in. theni quit the game and started same game again where i started first few minutes winning by 10...
thats so weird...

it aint a bug...happens to me too, and im sure that it happens to all of ppl's too....when i was playing the Lakers, I was San Antonio and the first game they were killing me in the 4th quarter, getting OFF. rebs and shit like that scoring, but then I quit and started the game again, I was beating them...the game was goin my way

When I start any game in any mode, I cannot use my Controller (Generic 10 button type) straight away. I have to pause the game select the control ( which is there by default already ) , then I can use it, almost everytime I miss out on the jump ball, this is pissing me off.

Hey do anyone notice this bug since NBA 05? About the ScreenShot function. When you press the camera button when on Screen Shot mode, the output picture also prints the replay interface messing up your great screenshot moment. It's just like the printscreen function of windows, it doesn't remove the replay interface (unless you used the F12 button on live replay moments to capture it). I dunno if this is still evident in 07 since i haven't buy the game yet.... (And will never be unless a decent version will be introduced through a patch)

ONE OF THE EARLIEST NON-FUNCTIONING MAPPING of KEYBOARD CONTROLS is THIS: If you gonna play the PC version through KEYBOARD only, the freestyle control are never simulated as stated compared to its equivalent analog pad (ex: holding the crossover+directional buttons - all I can do is a jabstep when not dribbling - but while dribbling it makes no difference). And the moves are getting lesser and lesser from 2006 onwards - hesitation gone, backdown gone, and freestyle crossovers are limited to 2 styles, etc. As of now (NBA 07), my friend said the superstar triggers are now mapped to the analog stick of gamepads - which is the equivalent to the crossover+directional buttons mapping of the keyboard. Actually, I never find those freestyle control on keyboard really working since I started playing the Live series (since 2004). Although I found an alternative by modifying the kfg files for RYAXISCHANGE and RXAXISCHANGE mapping of buttons for the Analog control equivalent. Although the AXISCHANGES are limited equivalents...

I think these two "old" bugs are should be carried out somehow to the bug-report team...

Also a wrong mapping of controls in NBA Live was also evident in 2006 if you all notice the mapping of Offense/Defense plays from 1,2,3,4. Each numbers depicts a different play than what was stated in the rulebook right?

Before, all those bugs coming with every new release of NBA Live seems tolerable for me since I practically garnered much enjoyment everytime I bought a new release every year. I just thought it's still playable somehow and EA never releases patches for NBA Live anyway. But now with all those protests I've heard from this community, I'm thankful I haven't invested yet on buying this newest release, although this is the version I'm most excited waiting for since the cover for this year is actually my favorite player (yeah t-mac). Unfortunately, his year would probably be the most controversial release for NBA Live as of now.

That one's not really a bug so much as an unpopular feature. The Instant Replay these days is designed to leave the replay interface on the screenshot unless you hide it and use F12 so it's working as intended; it's just that most people prefer the old method.

I've got a pretty nasty and annoying one. I have a crashing bug that ALWAYS occurs. It involves my dynasty and checking ESPN stats central during a game it always crashes back to desktop. When its a regular game and not dynasty this does not happen. I can upload the dynasty save if you want.

Another bug is when playing online and you alt-tab the connection is immediately lost.

EDIT: Also I'm having instant replay navigation problems with my thrusmaster controller. It works fine in game but when u try to rotate with the right analog stick its often unresponsive. Weird since it works fine with the mouse.

Who wants the replay interface in a screenshot anyway? Its unpopularity is due to its own nature having a bad screencap implementation. Why not revert to the old system they've used on 2004? Even though this is a very small issue, if I'm in EA I would consider all flaws in my game before I consider making profit from it.

Besides having to pause my game when I start it to select my controller, I cannot play 3 pt shoot out or dunk comp because of this reason (ie the game doesn't recognize it by default even though it is my default controller) and there's no way of 'selecting' control options, once your into it. I can't even use my controller in the menu options, I have to use my mouse, no real big deal, but the rest just isn't right. OOps, fixed this, I had saved my settings but wasn't selecting it.

sub note to this, I've noticed that Adam Morrison is listed as a shooting guard instead of a Power foward. No real big deal once again , but still slack.

Well i found a new giltch. i was playing 1 on 1 with my friend online adn we were tossing the ball up for a alley from close in. we got it in once no score came up and we got in twice and 4 points came up and if he got alley score in and a normal score our score would come up as 3

PF? Hmm, wouldn't make sense to me...He's a SF/SG I believe.

Sorry to rant again, but does anyone know how to unlock the off-ball feature when it's activated? I still get that stupid bug about off-ball locking me randomly on a player, and there's just nothing I can do with the controller or keyboard to undo it...I couldn't play the last 2 mn of a game with the whole team because of that crap.
So fed up with this bullshit :shake:

I have a rumblepad 2 also. You hold the right analog button down until the icons show up. If it doesn't do anything for you, I have no idea other than trying another configuration in the controller settings.

Holding it down or clicking and holding it? Because the manual says clicking it I believe, and in this case it doesn't seem to work for me...

Sorry, yes I mean click and hold the button in. Try another configuration, like logitech dual action, unplug and replug your controller in, try a different usb port.

No argument here, my point was that it isn't a bug since it's a feature that's working as designed. However, as you pointed out it would be much better if it was not designed that way and the old method was much better.

Well, i've had a problem with this game....go figure right :roll:

But my question about 10 days ago was why does the game crash when i try to edit est. and wst. players through the edit players menu? I I'm sure others have ran into this issue already and have dealt with it, but if there is a solution please let me know.

I know it hasn't been mentioned in this thread, but if it has been posted somewhere else, sorry...
I figured out something about the shoes bug (at least with my PC version): for me, neither the home nor the away shoes are saved when I modify them, but I realized that the away shoes become the home shoes each time I edit the player again... :shake:

I tried with Atlanta and Boston, and Joe Johnson's new black/red/yellow Nike Elite (his away shoes) appear at home only, and the game automatically gives other away shoes. Same thing for Pierce or Telfair, their away shoes become their home shoes, and they get random away shoes. So we're screwed for now with away shoes, but to get the correct home shoes, just assign them as away shoes... :wall:
