charlotte bobcats cannot be taken out..otherwise it won't work in dynasty :shock: ..thanks for the feedback guys :D..i will consider doing another historic roster, if i have time..but not for 90's, i was thinking more of mid-late 80's roster.. 8-)

Just curious about a few things, first is the Megaupload link, which is temporarily unavailable, the newest download or is it the same as the filefront link? Second, this will not affect any of my current roster/cyberface mods will it?

Okay, thanks for the information and also thanks for the mod, as it looks very interesting.

Sendspace is pretty decent, and the megaupload is working again...

Just got done playing several games with all of the retro rosters, and I am simply amazed. Job very well done. Another quick question, do you know of any other Retro Roster Updates that even come close to this level of perfection?

Hello Tony! Great patch you have. Back in the old Live 95, I used to make some patches concerning the 90/91 and 91/92 seasons. These are still my favorite seasons of all time!
However I have some remarks about the rosters. I hope you find these useful. When will it be a new 91/92 season patch? How can I help?
These are my remarks:
- Robert Parish had a pair of green knee pads;
- Every Celtic player used black shoes;
- Vlade Divac was the starting center, not Sam Perkins. Perhaps you should put Perkins as the starting PF, A.C. Green didn't have a particular good season there.
- Magic has always a cyan blue knee pads;
- Some players have the modern glasses - Worthy, Buck Williams,...
- Fred Roberts is a white guy;
- Felton Spencer had glasses;
- Manute Bol is way thinner;
- So is Ralph Sampson.

Thanks!
Bruno

not talking about accessories, vlade divac don't deserve a starting spot, as he started less games than sam perkins and A.C. Green...sam perkins started as a center even in mcdonald's championship, held after the nba season. though i agree with remark on fred roberts, but talking about manute bol and ralph sampson...you just cannot edit bodytypes...they got the skiniest bodytypes possible...

^ yes we can't edit bodytypes but there is a way too make it more skinnier than ea's default skinny bodytype... to do that we will have to use custom bodytypes that ea made for certain players, shawn bradley has one and his body is much more skinny at least than ea's default skinny bodytype... you just have to extract and rename the custom bradley bodytype to the player you choose to be extra skinny to SGSM folder and change his bodytype to "3" in apppearance.dbf for it to work... :wink:

You're right, Perkins did have a good season and moved to center, though originally he was a PF. With Magic, the Lakers are way too stronger than they actually were in this season, because as everybody knows, he retired and didn't play except in the All-Star. So, does it make sense to exclude Magic from the Lakers?

As for the Warriors, I'd put Owens as starting SG, and put Elie on the bench. Owens is too big to play SG, some may say, but at 6'8'', he's capable of playing both guard and forward.

Anyway, can this patch be reviewed? How can I help?

Thanks
Bruno

then what's pf and c for golden state? judging from the games started point of view, lineup c-hill pf-owens sf-mullin sg-elie is closer to reality than c-alexander/lister pf-hill sf-owens sg-mullin. and btw..elie is only a starter in the stats column...sarunas marciulionis, the 6th man, who subbed elie, played a lot more than mario...and if you put mullin on the sg, marciulionis will hardly sub in.

I'm sure that Hill did start at center, BUT, Elie was not the regular starting SG. Elie started only in 32 games and Sarunas started 5. That leaves 45 games with another starting SG and in my opinion, that would be Billy Owens. In those 45 games the Warriors had a couple of options at the frontcourt - Hill, Lister and Alexander. On the other hand, Owens played 80 games, being a starter in 77 of them. That leaves 32 games at probably starting PF.
So, in my opinion, the majority of the games Owens played, he played at starting SG, but could start at PF and move to SF when Mullin was at the bench. So I don't agree that Elie is the starting SG...
Nice debate we're having :)

you may, however, adjust starting percentages, but for the "official" lineup i agree with tony d's decision. then, you can assign playing time and starting frequency and easily make some games for owens to start at sf, pf and even sg. as well as mullin to sf and sg.. so no worries ;)

How can I do that? What programs do you use to edit the players? I tried ebodit but it stalls my CPU at 100%. I tried EAGraph, try to load any file, but it only lists me some players files at the listview at the left of the screen, not showing anything in the main form.
What programs are there to edit players colors, shapes, ratings, accessories, etc.?

I'd like to pick the great Tony D patch and modify it at my will.

Oh, I forgot to give you my opinion about the Mavs:

The starting 5 would be: PG Harper, SG Blackman, SF McCray, PF T. Davis, C H. Williams. The backup PGs are Iuzzulino and Brad Davis, SG are Fat Lever and T. Moore, SF Randy White, PF Doug Smith, C Hodge and Donaldson.
Fat Lever wouldn't get much playing time due to his injury...

Tony, help me out with this. How can I edit the players? I'm not able to do anything with both ebodit and eagraph!

Thanx

Tony, I downloaded the patch but a lot of the players have no faces only dark heads with stripes. Is there something wrong with the way I installed the patch or is it my computer?

when you extracted the .rar, there was a folder named "sgsm" in it, you have to put everything from this folder in the sgsm of your nba live (C:\Program Files\NBA Lives 07\sgsm or something like that) :wink:
