NBA Live 07 Almost Ready for Submission

I know it was basically mentioned before, but i like it soooo much: add some kind of simple nba action show that gives highlights of other games or at least shows the major plays of the game: game-winning three, fantastic alleyoop, etc...

ok i haven't read much of this thread or the other one so don't get angry if its already metioned
i think practice during dynasty that doesn't affect ratings or anything but used just to try out different plays would be good. all the plays there are i doubt alot of people know all of them and who moves to where so it would be good if EA let you practice different plays in dynasty so you can find out what suit you and your team's style of play

-highlights;not just to leave those big plays and, play them back after the quarter or half or at least after the game.
=how to make rip hamilton moves/curls around without the ball like in real, and not all teams plays like phoenix suns. so SPECIFIC TEAM STRATEGY is needed, every team has its own offensive n deffensive strategies
=add all kinds of 'score' situations, set them loose (almost every game in my dynasty mode is a close game most of them are OT's, ot's r great but it gets boring that way)
-comp win by playing a good game not 'cheating'
-team ratings as guidelines than the ones determied the winner
-cuztomizable all star team (i wanna add 4 pisotns to the team)
-big players guard the lane!!
-be real on the rebounds
-slam dunk comp- add some chair chairs, other players etc..
-freestyle issues-
* power players(like big ben) dont usualy do that
move in the low post but i see him doing that during the offensive reboundS..most power players do that too..slams it straight down..(add it not change it)
*stoppers (like bowen) dont steal or block shots but they give the offensive player a hell of a defense...they still get the specialty
*multiple freestyle ,let a star shoots like a shooter, pass like a playmaker, and drives like a...scorer (according to their ratings)
*offensive freestyles(scorer , highflyer,power) are too invincible at least those stoppers can be able to stop them (blocked dunks when trying to over him, according to the ratings)(outside stopper to stop the outside playes from getting in)
- no scoring to the backboards
-players reaction after big plays (no need the cut scenes except for buzzer beaters fo course) the bench, the teamates, the opponents and of course the one who made it
-how about the dancers add some.(sitting at the end of the court is enough for me)
-custom crowds in each arena (the jerseys etc..)
-most home crowds go home when their home team is losing
-revives the backdown move(keyboard), trophy ceremony, all star mvp
-various commentators

ps : we can alley oops off the glass (including self alley oops) as far as i know in the all star game

There is a bug that you didn't add. When you make a dynasty with Washington you are able to trade with Washington so you are able to have two Arenas.

-Increase/add more affect on players from defensive pressure from human controlled opponents

I know people who abuse me and can make loads of jump shots while I defendly very closely. The commentary will even comment that "it was a forced shot" or "under tremendous pressure" but the shot will still go in more often than not, and this is with players who are not good, such as Boston Nachbar and Rasual Butler. And yet if the CPU is defending them it seems to have a better effect. I can also defend CPU players quite effectively, this is only against human opponents. I am speaking of the X360 version here, as I have not played any other 06 version extensively, but I remember this also happening in Live 05.

- Introduce a "pivot" step for players changing directions drastically. This will help eliminate skating and also prevent people from "juking" without even using the freestyle controls, it's incrediblly difficult to keep up with a ballhandler when he can change directions so quickly without pivoting, especially since he is not in a sliding defensive stance.

- Introduce a "team chemistry" and "momentum" levels for in-game performance. Players stats should flucuate throughout the game according to these ratings. Momentum should adjust according to the players current performance in the game. A similar hot/cold momentum system was used in the NBA Inside Drive series, and I thought it worked excellent.

How about adding all the international teams that tried to qualify for the 2006 fiba world championships coming up in august in japan? NBA does want to 'expand its borders' so why not put it in a game? NHL 2004 did it with their international squads. Also, if it is put into the game, USA, France, Spain, and Germany must not be so good because they are overrated. What do you guys think?

Too much turnovers by CPU especialy in last seconds when CPU is down they

Hey another thing there are some layups or shots or passes that only freestyle

stars can do them but it does't mean that other players cannot so I think normal

players should do these things too but not az much az super stars

You see in real NBA when a team is down win so many numbers like 20 or 30

they don't let they stars to paly at the end of the game but we can't see this in

NBA live

Have the dynasty/ season game clock appear to be 12 mins even if the game is only 5 min quarters. that way mpg and #per 48 min, can be equivalent to the rest of the league.
so it'll be like a fast clock.. just like some of the soccer games like fifa.

The things that really need fixing need to be the focus. The game is NBA Live, not World Basketball Live. Fixing it so players behave realistically, get realistic stats, the game is a better simulation and Dynasty Mode has deeper features - the same way the Madden series emulates the NFL - is more important at this stage.

I understand where you're coming from, but I think improvements to the current ones and fixes are more pressing issues.

We've discussed that before. The problem is there are other timed elements of basketball that would be affected like that, such as the shot clock.

I really think NBA Live 07 needs national teams like they do with NHL 04.05.06 etc...They should have Team Germany with Dirk, team Canada with Nash, team Argentina with Ginobili, China with Yao, Serbia and Montenegro with Peja etc....
