Guys why all point guard in nba live 07 is sooo great??i mean really great.its like my team versus point guard..any point guard can score 30 plus points even i have great defense on him..and come on...including never heard player can score just point guard..any patch can solve this pain in my ass point guard here??hehehehe!!i mean atleast make it fare hehehe!

It's a flaw in the AI. The roster updates contain adjusted Primacy ratings and there are probably still some aiact/gameplay fixes out there but the results aren't perfect. We've done the best we can over the years but when it comes down to it, NBA Live 07 was not the release we were hoping for.

I downloaded Revolution's fix. It fixed the flaw to me. C/PFs are dominant. But some games that PG dominates especially to teams with great PGs (D-will, d-rose, etc.).

I think that official EA update fixes this problem, or I´m wrong? Maybe not fix, but reduce PG domination.

No, it didn't address the issue. At least, it's not among the list of fixes made available when the patch was released all those years ago.

It fixed the substitution logic though, when you play 10+ min/quarter ... substitution is very good. But when just 5 minutes ... about 8 players only can play ... sometimes worse ... the CPU does not substitute.

I wouldn't say it fixed it completely. It's better than in the vanilla game but not as good as 2005 or 06. Substitution and Fatigue in 07 and 08 leave much to be desired.

Hi Andrew,
Same problem with mine. I mean I am ok with players (usually PG/SG) dominating the game. What I am disappointed right now is that starting patch 4.07 onwards, my players can't score during crunch time. I mean players are missing even dunks and lay-ups, even the good ones like lbj,melo,wade,kobe,etc. It seems 07 was aligned with 08 (I kinda hate 08 because of this so I focused on 07). Can you help me with this?

Not really, sorry. Nothing that the releases since v4.07 have done would affect that.

did you check your game slider?usually when the game come down to the end pressure are really increasing not like on the 1st and 2nd. momentum are also changing so you better check the game slider and run a great plays so that a well executed shot will be made..

I´ve used to have patch that completly fix pg domination issue, perfect fix for that problem where computer uses all players in offense actions, but when I reinstall game some month ago- it´s been lost. don´t know which patch was it, and that is bothering me very much. every single patch from Downloads section or does not fix it or fix it partially. it is just not the same game i˝ve played. it is really frustrating, but i gotta get used to it

maybe, but maybe, it is related to TUP 10. When that update was actual i have used rosters from tup 10 in NBA 07, just rosters, and i think in same time i´ve done that- gameplay has completly improved. i´ve played two season without PG problem... maybe there´s lying a solution for this major problem

I had an ai fix way back that was supposed to improve this. It didn't completely eliminate it, but it toned it down from what I remember.

Artificial Intelligence Update

First make a backup of your aiact.viv file as mine uses all the default EA animations. To keep all your animations from TUP or any other mod, extract the assignments.act and crunch.act from my patch and import them into your aiact.viv file using bigGUI or EAGraph.

Yes I do, the latest update. Why you ask?

Centers and PFs are still low used with this patch, but at least PGs aren´t so damn dominant, there is no too much coast to coast driving, but still that is not eliminated

and I have another tip which is useful in my case, related to PG domination... when I play at Starter level, medium level between Rookie and World Class (or Superstar), it reduces pg problem in comparison with world class level. S if you playing game in World Class you should try change it to Starter and down low your team overall value so that level is not too easy for you to play. My team have usually value of 78 in comparison with for exaple Lakers which have 94 or for exaple Milwaukee 83 or Orlando 86. Playing game at starter level plus that patch I mentioned before really improves original game gameplay for some 30-40%

I must again said, BIG recomendation of BadLuckLuke Playbook Update, it is really highly useful for reality of Nba Live 07 game, one of many exaples is game i´ve played today with my team Pistons, where opponent PG Mo Williams had only 9 point of 65 Utah´s points and player of the game was Paul Millsap with 16 points. for a month I am using this patch, and have all the best words for it

Really, this patch is gold mine for 07 players because original game is impossible to play. Now PGs have like 6 points and 10 asists in game (I playing 4 minute quarter). you have done major job with it. I try all similar patches but this polutes the best, realest results. I´m glad that Andrew will put it in next Update.
