You're welcome, I wanted to get it done before I went to Canada. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to so I didn't want to set a date but was aiming for a release before the 25th. :)

still it was quite a surprise to see it this soon, tnx!

you're going to canada to visit ea sports, right? i was wondering can you do me a favor... since i've been playing also fifa and nhl games on pc, can you ask those guys at ea sports about fifa 09 and nhl 09 for pc, are they going to be next gen or ps2 port again, will they at least improve gameplay and graphic for those two upcoming games, that's all i would like to know...

I could ask but I'll only be meeting with the NBA Live production team so they might not have much info to pass along.

I believe I know the answer to this question, but thought I would ask anyway. This file/release is a roster file- so any created players I am currently playing with in 1.21 need to be recreated in version 1.22, correct?

Thanks.

No. I'll release it when it's finished and I'm satisifed with it, and not a moment sooner.

No, sorry. The post-Draft update is one that gets delayed (especially with the situation this year) so I really don't want to put up a tentative date because past experience has taught me that people hold me to that date and then get abusive when I have to push it back. Unfortunately, some people don't get the fact that it's something I do for free in my free time and feel they have the right to demand I release updates when it's convenient for them and be abusive if I don't.

Beyond that, I'd rather not disappoint anyone by not being able to reach target dates so with the post Draft updates, it really is a case of trying to get them out as soon as possible can rather than setting a date for it. I do like to keep people informed and not make people wait but unfortunately I can't always set dates or get updates out as quickly as everyone would like.

Posts like the Donz007 one are ridiculous.
He is one of the people you mentioned in your first part.

On the other hand, I think Rex81 knows the fact, that you are spending your free time for the other user.
He doesn't want an exact date, but kind of a little information like "I'm working on it" or "I haven't start yet".

Sorry for my bad english. Just haven't used it enough in the last couple of months.

I know, there was nothing wrong with the tone of his post. I just wanted to explain why I'm reluctant to post a tentative date at this time; it's more trouble than it's worth with the first update after the Draft.

starting a dynasty with updated rosters

Postby NCAle on Wed Jul 23, 2008 9:42 am

So, either I'm missing something incredibly obvious, or it just can't be done...why the crap can't I start a dynasty with the correct, current rosters? I get the same old Lakers with Smush Parker, what gives!? Btw, love the roster update. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into it!

Regards,

NCAle

***SCRATCH*** I just found the answer...turn of Draft 06 apparantly... Will try now!

No, it's not. When it's released (I can't set a date at this time) I'll be sure to post an announcement letting everyone know.

There's no set date but I'm almost finished the next version of the 08 roster, which I'll then convert for use with 07. It will be out a few days later. I have a few things to do as far as NBA Live 09 is concerned but now that the server move has been completed that's one less thing to worry about, so I can go back and complete my work on the roster updates. Sorry I can't be any more specific than that at this time.
