u need to get the joysitck... if you don't, I don't see the point in getting a controller... that's only my opinion tho!

You'll need a dual analog gamepad. I used a Thrustmaster Firestorm 2 for years but the left stick's quite dodgy these days so I've replaced it with a Logitech Dual Analog pad. So far, so good.

falkor i agree with andrew, the logitech dual analogs are quite good (i've got 2 and no problems that wouldnt happen to any controller)

I'm using a PS2 pad for pc and it works just fine.
(although it is fragile)

Rumblepad 2 by Logitech is pretty good stuff, although '07 has some bugs with it...

Hi,
I'm going to buy Sony DualShock 2 (the original from PS2) and connect it to my PC (via converter). Is anyone using this gamepad in PC? Are there any problems with configuring it under NBA Live 07?
Thanks.

MLG33, thanks for the answer.
I assume you are using it also with NBA Live 07 (for PC)?
I read that PS2 pad is the best one (far better that the Logitechs's ones) and it is cheaper, so I'm buying it tomorrow

I just needed confirmation that it will work with NBA.
Thanks.

I use it for NBA Live 2005, and it works great. I suppose it would be the same for 07.

Yes, Logitech Dual Action was the first one, I wanted to buy, but I changed my mind after reading some tests. Here is one of them:

I've had 2 Logitech Dual Action controllers for approximately a year, and had exactly zero problems with them. Maybe those who post those type of reviews are really hard on their controllers or something -- I dunno. I love my Logitechs.

Game Elements Recoil. Best controller I've ever used. It's all super-soft with nice rubber padding and good grip... and the best thing is, the cord is flat. It pulls up inside the controller automatically (but you can lock it at any length), so your cords don't get tangled.
