Some guy doesn't want to play Live on PC.

I have been a fan of nbalive pc version since 99 or so, but live 06 will be the last version that i will play on PC. Start from 07 will be on console because EA doesn't give a shit anymore for the PC user so why should i give a shit too. I will be missed Andrew's roster update. Damn i wish they can patch the xbox 360 or PS3. Who else is going after the console? Holla me. :twisted:

I think he's more referring to his personal switch to Live on the console since the PC version doesnt suit his taste as much.

I dont see how you could possibly stand playing on a console when you can play on a PC and get all of these awesome patches! I couldnt stand playing Live without all of Andrew's roster updates, jersey updates, real and fictional, court updates, real and fictional, things like the legeands patch, the 1997/98 roster patch, the National teams patch, AIACT patches, arena music patches, scoreboard patches, shoe patches, lighting patches, cyberfaces, portrait updates. I mean, the game I play barely even resembles the game that came in the box. How can you stand to play the console version?

ea cares about the pc nba live, because it generates more money for them. other then that they dont give a shit. they give us a game with "sliders" because they cant be bothered by making a game with good gameplay, and force the buyer to figure it out themselves. On top of that they just give us shitty ports. i love going into option and clicking on a video to watch, only to get a fucking URL to go to. How lazy ass is that??? Then they keep coming out with pc games with no save stats feature, we always have to wait for an update, or have someone not in EA's company to fix that problem. Face it, EA keeps bringing out crap. maybe next year they will fix shit like the cpu walking out of bounds, getting their shot blocked by the rim cause they shoot right underneat the rim, the layups and shots that are behind the backboard, and hopefully next year they can have the computer do something reasonable. Not have a seven footer take a 3 at the end of games, or have someone pass it into the post for a last second shot when they clearly need a 3. :roll:

sorry i dont buy graphics, i buy shit gameplay, and im tired of ea giving us thier half assed shit. :evil:

I know i know i know. I can't live without great patches here, but can you live without the damn graphic? Even i have the super $4000 PC and 1900XTX card for live 07, it won't looks as good as PS3 or xbox 360. PC is like a highschool vs. Xbox 360 PS3 College. I am not trying to piss anyone off here. Personally I can live without the graphics. They're nice and all but I'm more interested in the gameplay and Dynasty Mode, and prefer the flexibility of the PC. That, and I'm not looking to get an Xbox 360 or PS3 right now.

GFX imo you have to care for to a certain degree but its the gameplay that counts. Anyone remember Nba Live 06 Xbox 360 vs. Nba Live 06 All the other Platforms? On X360 all the work went to nice gfx but no freestyle superstars (even tho it is cheap at times it was a welcome addition) and dynasty mode. I'm sure they'll have that stuff in there this year for 360 and PS3 but PC should be fine unless they change it to stick figures in monochrome, make cpu offensive rebounds even more of a bitch and reintroduce old gameplay bugs and glitches.

Well I guees everybody can choose what they want.I myself prefer the PC version.Who cares about the graphics?If I can still play live 98,then I can play live 07 on the PC.Here at the NLSC we have alot of amazing patchers.Who patch the game to look almost like the 360 version.So why would that go to waste.I'm not the one to force to buy the PC version,I'm just saying it can look like the 360 with a decent video card and shitload of patches.

Stonecold, like I said before, great graphics will keep me entertained for awhile. I mean its fun to look at for a week or two, but it is the gameplay and patches that keep me going month after month. With a console, after six months, you still have the same game. However, with a PC after six months, your game doesnt even resemble the original. Its just like women: sure that supermodel is fun and great to look at for a couple of months, but after awhile you get tired of all of the bullshit. What ya gotta do is find a nice mix of looks and personality; that my friend is what a PC offers.

all the people that are saying they couldn't play Live unless it was on PC, well the reasons i choose to play on XBOX are i prefer to use a contoller, not a keyboard, which gives you a better feel for the game-especially on a tv, that is bigger than a monitor. Although i do wish there were updated players etc. as on Andrews patch
