I'm trying to decide if this is a fair trade.
FYI, this is for NBA Live 2007 just in case anyone wonders if it's in the right forum.
A Note About My Dynasty Setup:
It's December 2006 and I'm playing with 2007-08 Rosters (Greg Oden and Kevin Durant highlight the rookie class, non-injuries as I wanted to see Oden in his first season). I could not figure out how to start in the 2007 season with this roster and I have no plans of starting over.
I've been in the market the previous two weeks (game weeks, not real weeks), for some help down in the paint. I haven't sent it yet as I prefer to draft up the trade offer, save the franchise, and then hope for the best so that way I cannot play "God" by correcting mistakes, in a sense.
So here's the trade offer I am considering:
Chicago Sends to Portland:
SF Andres Nocioni, 78 ovr, 7.50M
SG Thabo Sefalosha, 70 ovr, 1.81M
Chicago Receives from Portland:
C Joel Pryzbilla, 64 ovr, 5.76M
PF Channing Frye, 74 ovr, 2.49M
Nocioni is not seeing as much playing time as he deserves and when he does, it's usually at PF which cuts into Tyrus Thomas' minutes. As for his playing time at SF, blame Luol Deng for being resilient.
Portland has high interest in Sefalosha which bodes well for my Bulls because we already have a log jam at the guard spots. He's been playing well lately which I guess helps in this trade. His movement would allow me to bring up JamesOn Curry to see how he plays out because Ben Gordon and Chris Duhon are in a contract year. Chances are Duhon is in his final year as a Bull despite the fact that I like having him as a Bull. Salary-speaking though, he's not a feasible option.
Joel Pryzbilla provides shot blocking, offensive rebounding, defensive rebounding, strength, veteran leadership down in the paint. Everything that Joakim Noah is lacking at the moment. His attributes say otherwise but his play on the court has declined quickly over the past three weeks of play.
Channing Frye allows me to be flexible with Tyrus Thomas, meaning I could play Thomas at PF for fast break offense or at SF with Gooden/Frye playing the low post helping out on the boards as well as giving us another inside scorer.
So, thoughts?
