Chicago Stadium

Fri Mar 14, 2008 9:04 pm

When I first got Live 07 I added B.a.y.a.g.'s 92 bulls patch which had the Chicago stadium court. After I added Historical Rosters Megapack v2 by Tony Divence Chicago Stadium turned into the united center court even though it says Chicago Stadium and has a picture of it in the stadium select. If anyone knows how I can get Chicago Stadium back into my game so I can play there with Tony Divence's 91-92 rosters and B.a.y.a.g.'s 92 bulls patch it would be greatly appreciated.

Just reiunstall Bayag´s patch again. If it was an exe, extract the files into a temporary folder and copy the court files into the sgsm

I already tried that it doesn't work. Once I install Divence's rosters I can't get Chicago Stadium back. I think I have to delete something.

Copy .big file of the court to sgsm directory and .viv file to sgsm -> stadia directory (from BAYAG's patch of course) and it must work...

I already tried that to and it didn't work. It's still gone, much like the real Chicago Stadium. I kind of have little panic attacks when I drive by where it use to be. Don't worry about your English Spree, I understood exactly what you said.

So maybe it's the difference of team abbreviation between BAYAG's court files and Tony Divence's rosters. Check the name of court file (4 letters, for Bulls'92 court probably chi0/chix or something like that), then open teams.dbf from Tony's rosters with DB Commander, find the Bulls and look for the column named TEAMABR4 (7th on the left) and check if there's the same abbreviation. If not, fill in the name of court file and it should be fine.

If that won't help, open teams.dbf from BAYAG's rosters with '92 Bulls add-on. Find '92 Bulls and check columns ABBREV and TEAMABR2 also, and fill in the same in those columns in Tony Divence's rosters.

I tried but it didn't work. I think it has to do with the .big files that have logo~woodmark and logos~score in them. I thinke deleting the ones from Tony's rosters will solve my problem but I'm not sure which are for chicago.

You can be right. Check the Bulls abbreviation in teams.dbf and abbreviation.big is the name of Tony's Bulls file.

Thanks for the help Spree but I'm ready to give up. I tried erasing every arena and woodmark .big file that had the letter c in it and it still didn't work.

download Classic teams finals challenge

I updated the chicago stadium court ..it's a bit different then the original download...the newer one looks closer tot he actual 92 bulls court. and just extract chi0 or chix.viv into your sgsm/stadia folder....I forgot which one i named it haha.

edit....im not sure if tony is using the default 4 letter abbreviations for his teams or not.if he is....you need to change the viv files chi0 or chix to chic.plus all the files inside the viv file.

How do I change the names of the files inside the viv files? I'm opening the viv files with EA sports editor. Please don't tell me I have to extract every file change the name then import it back in. Is there an easier way? By the way thanks for the reply, Your patches are great.

I'm afraid it's the only way to do this.
