tnx, i'm very grateful... i added few more infos today after watching pictures from last night games (appearances for nate robinson, mike miller, matt harpring, rahseed wallace, amare stoudamire, height change for delonte west). also, i didn't know 'till yesterday that "edit player" option in nba live 07 offers so many different player's appearances options (you can choose what kind of band, pad or sleeve, then on which part of arms or legs to be put, etc which is great, you can make all the players look like real ones). so those are the changes that i made in order to make players look like in real life. take as many time as you need to implement all the issues form the feedback list and to make this version as perfect as it can be. it's not hurry.

again, i know it takes your free time, but i'm sure everyone will be very, very grateful to you. thank you.

No problem. For future reference though, when you post additional feedback it's usually easier for me if you do so as a new post rather than updating the previous one. Thanks. :)

it's easier for me too, but i thought you'd prefer it to be in one post (as you can print it to yourself when checking players' appearances). please also note when i say add/remove "accessorie" i mean only bands, pads, sleeves, not tattoos, so don't misunderstand me.

No worries there, whenever I get new feedback I add it to the list of things to check and do before I release the next version.

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:53 am

- luol deng (bulls) - check the height, he should be 6-9 (nba.com)

- raymond felton (bobcats) - check the height, he should be 6-1 (nba.com)

- check the numbers for recently acquired players - theo ratliff 42, sam cassell 28, p.j. brown 93, juan dixon 8, flip murray 22, primož brezec 1, gordan giriček 2

new infos:

- two days ago i reinstalled my nba live 07 and i've been playing it only with that official EA's patch (without any NLSC addon or any other addon) and i discovered two very wierd and strange things - i play 2min quarter lenght and while i was using NLSC roster patch, i never got to see CPU substitute players, players' injuries were very rare, CPU was calling timeouts also very rarly, but without NLSC roster patch i see CPU making subs sometimes, players get injured more frequently, CPU calls timeout more often... why is this happening? do you have any idea? how to fix it so i can see all those things while playing with NLSC roster patch?

- it apperas that danny granger and mike dunleavy (pacers) switched positions (according to nba.com and foxsports.com boxchart), so granger switched to SG, while dunleavy siwtched to SF.... check this out

- cuttino mobley (clippers) - remove the right arm accessorie and add the BLACK sleeve on the left arm

- quinton ross (clippers) - remove the headband and add the BLACK sleeve/pad on the right knee

- shawn marion (heat) - add the left forearm TEAM band on the left arm and put the BLACK short sleeve on left calf of the left leg

- vince carter (nets) - put the TEAM sleeve on the right arm, put the DARK BLUE or BLACK knee pads on both knees, remove left arm accessorie and also remove the headband

- samuel dalembert (sixers) - remove all arm accessories and headband and put the BLACK short sleeve on a right calf of the right leg

- t.j. ford (raptors) - remove all arm accessories and add the TEAM headband

hi
just a newbie question about the roster..
I installed it and I see no players in minimum FA
is something wrong with mine or did you eliminate them on this roster?
thanks

I really have no idea what's going on there. The NLSC rosters have adjusted Fatigue so that players will substitute more often and injuries are governed by two things; the Hardiness attribute (which I haven't globally reduced or anything like that) and the sliders (which the roster doesn't change). There isn't really anything I can fix, so far as I can see.

I've made a note of everything else, thanks as always.

When you start a new Dynasty game, the lowest rated free agents are pruned from the database automatically by the game. They should still be in the rosters by default.

It shouldn't cause the game to substitute them less frequently or get injured more often.

i would also like to ask you to re-check UNINJURED roster hardiness and primacy issues for every NBA team and fix it if necessary, so shoot distribution can be more balanced and to reflect the real life NBA game.

Sat Mar 15, 2008 2:33 pm

The Primacy and Hardiness ratings in the Uninjured version are identical to the regular version of the rosters with current lineups.

can it cause primacy problems for UNINJURED roster because it's identical?

in my first feedback post (up there), i put some examples where primacy wasn't good. i didn't check all the teams but i'm quite sure that some other teams need some primacy fixing too. as you can see it, in UNINJURED roster only 1 or 2 players take majority of FG attempts, so that's why i told you to re-check all the teams and to fix it in order the primacy looks more realistic and balanced.

Sun Mar 16, 2008 9:51 am

No, it shouldn't cause any problems because the Primacy ratings have already been adjusted so the go to players have the highest Primacy ratings.

For example, the Primacy ratings for the Lakers are as follows:

Kobe Bryant: 99
Pau Gasol: 85
Lamar Odom: 75
Andrew Bynum: 45
Derek Fisher: 45

As you can see, that matches your suggested order for the Primacy (though Bynum's ratings are admittedly identical). If you check the actual Primacy ratings for the other teams you mentioned, you should find that the players who should have high Primacy ratings do have them because I went through all the teams and adjusted the Primacy long before you suggested it. Point guards are an exception since I've found setting them lower Primacy ratings is preferable to balance the simulated stats and stop them from shooting all the time in gameplay.

I can try editing the Playbooks a bit in teams.dbf but beyond that, I can't always guarantee the results will be perfect, especially since I've already gone through and made changes to Primacy ratings. With a Primacy rating of 85, Gasol should really be shooting more. I have to work with what the game will give me.

The rosters themselves will be out this evening, after today's games have finished so I can make some final adjustments to the current lineups and doublecheck a couple of other items.
