Please be patient; a minute is not nearly long enough to wait for a response or bump the thread. Thanks.

There's been no official fix released for it, the lone update EA Sports released last November does not address the issue. I don't have any home-cooked remedies to suggest because I've been fortunate enough not to encounter the problem but perhaps someone else has some advice they can offer.

go to the following site. http://www.gamecopyworld.com. it link isnt clickable. copy and paste it in your browser.

once there, in the search box, type "nba live 07" click search.
go to where it says "nba live 07 FIXED .EXE FILES AND GAME TRANIERS. click on that.
u will see nba LIVE 07 FIXED.EXE file version 1.1. click that
click on any mirror u wish to download the fix
after download just extract to ur nba live folder. it will ask u to replace the exisiting file, click yes. U ARE ALL DONE!! NO MORE CRASHES AFTER GAMES!

have any queestions or still need help let me know

I did it wont let me extract the file.It says access dinied

Sun Sep 02, 2007 9:36 am

TRY IT AGAIN. IF IT WONT LET YOU EXTRACT THE NORMAL WAY, save THE FILE TO YOUR COMPUTER AND open the file when it is done. U should also be able to copy and paste that file into the nba live folder if the extraction proccess doesnt work. copy/paste it and it should work. it should be asking you to replace the existing file u click yes or yes to all. let me know if it works which i am confident it will one way or another.

Sun Sep 09, 2007 4:10 am

Sun Sep 09, 2007 6:30 am

the file is a RAR file. do u have WINRAR INSTALLED ON YOUR CPU??? if not u need to install WINRAR for the file to work properly.

Mon Sep 10, 2007 5:28 am

i have WINRAR installed,my OS-Vista,may be thats the reason it doesnt work

Mon Sep 10, 2007 5:47 am

it should work because i had the vista beta on my cpu and reinstalled nba live and put that file on and it worked. are u sure u are downloading .EXE file. and not GAME TRAINERs AND FIXES?

Tue Sep 11, 2007 5:22 am

NBA Live 07 v1.1 [MULTI] Fixed EXE ,thats the file that im downloading

Tue Sep 11, 2007 5:50 am

did it overwrte the old file this time? u need to use your winrar program to extract this file if it isnt extracting the normal way. i used my winrar to extract it. click on the folder in your winrar prgram and click extract to at the top.

go til u get to nba live folder in the winrar program. click extarct/ok. u should be asked to replace the current file and you click yes to all. hope it works this time

Sun Sep 16, 2007 5:31 am

i did-nothing,doesnt work

Sun Sep 16, 2007 6:00 am

well try to download it using an alternative brower like firefox. i dont know how in the world it isnt working. either u are not extracting something rite or u are not following the directions. if vista is casuing the deal, u will need to probably downgrade ur computer BACK to xp. put the file on the game, and THEN RE UPGRADE the computer to vista. thats gotta work hopefully.

While some people have reported that using that file stops the crashing, it's not an actual crash fix.

The first thing you should try is to end any background programs that you don't need while you are playing NBA Live.
I used to have the issue when I first installed live. Here is what I did and the problem never came back. Basically, I reinstalled the game with no programs running in the background. So, after uninstalling, I restarted my computer, disconnected from the internet, closed my firewall/turned it off, closed my antivirus program and any other programs that started automatically when Windows boots. Then I installed Live and the official patch. Then I played a full game to see if it crashed and it didn't.

Other things you can try are updating your video card drivers, installing the latest version of DirectX 9.0c, and you can also try installing the game in Safe Mode.

I can't guarantee that any of these will work.
