Can I change staff salary?

So, can i change staff salary for my scouts, asst. head coach, trainer and assistant? And maybe can i change their skills, like from D to A or smtn...

You can indeed. staff.dbf is the file you need to edit.

And is there a guide or smtn like this one ( http://nbalive07.nba-live.com/index.php?go=dbf-players) for staff editing, like, where its said, what is what, which is worse, which is better, like that...

I don't have a guide up at the moment but I'll check my notes from the Real Staff patch as I did map the values when I was creating it.

I followed its instructions in editing my dynasty saves and it seemed to be working fine.

I also had some crashes, then I realized that, first, some values (SPECIALTY, EXP_YEAR, and YEARS) cannot exceed 9, and second, you CANNOT have more than 3 Assisstants. Unfortunately, I don't know about the limit of other staff types. But I think it is useful for you to know that, with 3 Assist. Coaches, 3 Assistants, 2 Trainers, and 1 Scout, I haven't yet crashed.

I tried to have 5 Assistants, but failed abysmally, ending up with a crashed game every time.

I don't know, how much did i taked assistants, i think that i had 3, maybe i just can't edit their abilities, maybe thats why it crashed. Anyway, I'll try for your example, I hope it will not crash again

Well, I don't really know about that.

But I think there must be a way to modify the staff-hiring budget, since at the start of each season the team owner would adjust the budget according to the team's record of last season. There have to be a place in all the dbfs to store that information. The sad thing is I don't know where.

Fortunately, a shorcut around this situation exists. You could edit the TEAM fields in staff.dbf, changing it to your team id, and sign the staff without entering the bargaining process. A TEAM field that has the value of 50 means that the person the record holds is a free agent, and you could have him on your team by just altering the TEAM field value without having to worry about ruining other teams' staff plan.

But be warned that by having this done you might very well put the whole thing over the limit and get yourself into the miserable land of cheating-too-much. Running an all-99 team is not that much of fun, and believe me, I could really tell you that.
