you know its funny, I always see these bug videos, yet I really have never really encountered any of these glitches/bugs.

Same with me, I have seen couple of these videos, But never seen it happen to me in the Game. I think NBA Live 07 is the best game EA has made in a while. It may be because the last NBA Live i played was NBA Live 03. I love the new features with free style superstar and stuff. I can't believe how people can hate this game.

Two questions:
1. Who's roster patch are you using?, Yao aint that fast in game unless you give him some f'ed up fan-boi speed ratings. Lower his speed and quickness to around 50-60 and that should clear up.
2. In the gameplay settings, there is this slider called "On-Ball Physical Defense". You might want to turn that down a bit, for both user and CPU. Once you have the right balance for the strength ratings you use, it becomes a completely different game. Increasing the shooting foul and mid-air collision sliders wouldn't kill you either, arcade settings begat arcade results.
These imagined and self-engineered bugs lessen our voices when real bugs(ie. substitution, inefectual fatigue, dynasty crashes, et al)crop up. Would you rather we be completely ignored as idiots, or do you truely want EA to twink every aspect of the game for the lowest common denominator?.
