Game quits with assistants and on Nov 30/08

Hello. My dynasty, I'm afraid, might be in jeopardy. When I try to go to my assistants page, the game shuts itself down. I haven't experimented with what happens if I just go about my other stuff, but I would like to be able to train my players, and if I cannot get to my assistants, that would be rather unfortunate. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong or what I can do/edit/fix to rid my dynasty of this problem?

Are you using any patches or have you modified any databases in any way?

I am using the NLSC Roster Update 1.00 and have modified my databases a bit. I'm in my seconds season and all the roster moves that were done through dbf editing have not been a problem, since I've now played to the end of November.

Might it have something to do with having 3 assistants perhaps?

Now the game just freezes altogether when Atlanta and Orlando are simmed on November 30/08. Neither of those two teams have players who were edited by me. It is saying the following:

I also did just add c0nr4d's jersey patches within the last 2 days, but I'm not sure if I was having the problems before the addition of the patch.

I've also just installed EA's patch, to complicated isolating the problem, but this was a problem before the patch was installed.

I had this before when I mucked around with the assistants and assigned them to my team without actually signing them in the game. So I changed them back to free agents and it fixed the problem.

The other issue might be making players free agents and not putting in the right info in Players.dbf. Just to check go into free agents and have a look at everyone to make sure they have 'years' listed as a number(I hope that makes sense) i.e player X wants a two year deal, player Y wants a four year deal and so-forth. Hopefully you'll find someone who has zero years and you can edit his 'contract' details in DBF editing and fix it.
I did it once and the issue I had was having a zero in a cell instead of having it blank.

Another thing you can also try is restoring the original dbf files in all of the database folders (workingdb, originaldb, currentdb, etc), as that error message isn't referring to a file that is stored in a Dynasty save folder.

How do I restore the original databases?

Joey, you'll have to open you're NBA live 07 cd and copy the file that way into your
C:\...NBA LIVE 07\DATABASE\WORKINGDB\ folder.
