ScottyInsane, you should be able to use an 07 FSH with an 06 EBO because you can use an 06 fsh with an 07 EBO.

I just did a test with an 06 ebo and it worked fine. You HAVE to use an 07 FSH as the base for you cyberface if you don't want to be all shiny. So extract Troy Murphy's 07 FSH, extract the DDS. Import your cyberface onto that one, save it as DDS - DXT3(explicit alpha) and import it back in to the FSH, change the FSH to your player package and you should be good to go.

Use like Winzip or Winrar and just extract them to your sgsm unless otherwise indicated.....
Also there are numerous threads around the Patching Issues forum, look around before just randomly blurting out for help in a totally unrelated topic

thanks for the idea I tied to import my DDS into the 06 FSH but it did not work, maybe the settings of the DDS were not correct, I shall give a try when I com back from bodybuilding

Jing, big thanks on the converting 06 CFs with FSHx tip :chug:

Just yesterday I converted about 20 CFs and I have about 20 more to go, I found the entire process to be very easy and I do it now really fast like a crazy robot

Too bad it's not as easy to convert a 06 jersey because of all the shit EA did this year :cussing:

Pdub wrote:^Use FSHx to extract a bmp of an 07 cyberface(bhed). Open your photoediting program and open the bmp you just extracted, and the bhed of the player you want to update or add to the game. Copy the bhed and paste it over the 07 players face. Save as a 32 bit bmp. Import it with FSHx into the 07 FSH. Place in sgsm directory.

Your tutorial seems to be very comprehensible, and I just followed each step, but I still ended up with the shiny face in the game. I suspect I might be doing something wrong at this stage: "Save as a 32 bit bmp." Reason being that when I tried to export, I didn't see the option to export as a 32 bit bmp, so I just exported it as a .bmp. Could that be the problem? And if so, how do I do the 32 bit bmp thing? I used macromedia fireworks mx as the photoediting software. I'm not too good with it, so I don't know if there's something I'm overlooking. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Its wrong. Later I figured that FSHx ignores the alphas of BMP's.

You can save it as a dxt3 dds file if you have the dds plugin for Photoshop, then import it with FSHx. But, there is another way of doing this that FSHx supports, and doesn't need you to have the dds plugin.

With your bhed open in Photoshop, add a layer mask to it. If the option is grayed out, just copy the bhed to another layer and make the background invisible, then add the layer mask to the new layer. Go to the channels tab of the layers window and select the layer mask. Paste the alpha you want to use into the layer mask. Most of the face should look like it disappeared, don't worry this is correct. Save it as a PNG file. When you go to import in FSHx, you will have to type in the name of the PNG file and it will show up under where you are typing, you can click it with the mouse. You will know you imported it correctly(no shine in-game) if the face looks blue.
