Things Ea need to do to improve Live

- Slow down gameplay for more realistic effect

- Better player animations

- Improved draft (player pictures, better scouting reports etc like 2k7 has)

- Better game coverage (introduce half-time analysis, game highlights, preview before game, improved celebration when team wins championship)

- Improve defense (no more driving with Kobe, Wade, LeBron with freestyle making every basket, no more getting 15 blocks per game and 25 steals per game with players players)

- Improve FSS so players like Nowitzki, Kobe, T-Mac etc shoot like 85%

- Introduce MJ, Barkley, Malone on decade teams but with different names allowing us to edit them

- Improve dynasty mode stat system

- Introduce first dynasty mode season with real-life players (eg - for Live 07 have players like Oden, Noah, Splitter available to draft in first season)

- When creating players have available names that commentators can say during games like 2k7 instead of calling them by their shirt number

- More fouls (during games call more fouls when driving to the hole, more reach-ins called, more charges etc called)

- Make more unlockables such as videos available

Most of that like gameplay speed and fouls can be changed with the sliders. Look in gameplay setting in options. Some of the dynasty stuff has been improved.

I was thinking the same thing after reading all his problems he posted about the game. How can you make a list of things without even playing a game first. But then again maybe he has a copy that EA sent him before anyone else could get before the release date.

Sorry i did mean the opposite about the FSS. And to Jugs and WayansFan I am talking about these improvements because by the previews I've read they havent done a lot to compete with 2k7 in terms of gameplay. They have probably improved gameplay but not enough to compete with 2k7 according to previews.


And to clarify these are improvements needed from Live 06 and thats because I havent played it yet. Hopefully improvements made upon Live 07 can prove some of my points wrong.

I havent mentioned 07 once in my first post. I have listed the things needed to be improved from Live 06 to make the game better but by reading the previews it doesnt look like they have done a lot to improve but having more depth in dynasty mode and slightly improving gameplay with more FSS. If you dont have anything to suggest or possibly give your opinions then why bother posting. Obviously I havent played 07 but I have just put together suggested improvements they should make from 06.

The most important element for me is the animations. Improve the animations, the variety of animations, and the instances to trigger certain animations. Live has some of the ugliest dribbling animations I've ever seen. Oh, and not to mention the complete lack of a post game which consists of a)chippie/hook b)layup/dunk.

Not to mention he is about 6 months late anyway.

Can you guys stop bitching!!! His giving his opinion on what Live should be like to make him and not necessarly you happy, and thats just his opinion so deal with it. We all will find out when we play the game soon to see if his right or not so until then shut the F up and let people voice their opinions.

Right now the next gen players move like robots. . .if they get rid of that, thenn it would be fine I guess!!! Imma have to wait and see when I play the game

Make the CPU put in more subs as you're playing vs. the CPU in a game. They do make subs when you sim or when only and when a player is in foul trouble.
