how to open a file in ps2 game or extract a file to pc?

i'm using pc and ps2 nba live 07 and nba 2k7.....

when i was playing nba live 07 and nba 2k7 i was thinking about the file in the dvd bcoz i insert the dvd of nba live 07(ps2) in pc and i see the file of nba live 07 same in nba live 07 (pc) after that i extract the file of nba live 07(ps2) to nba live 07(pc) and run the game,, successfully no errors but how about nba 2k7?? i cannot see the file of players etc..what file same in nba live 07 ?? i min nba live 07 players.dbf file what file the same in nba 2k7 (different names)???

bcoz i will make a patch for nba 2k7 (pc)....version!!! i min upgrade nba live 07 to nba 2k7.....
