When would EA have to release a fair patch to keep loyalty?

I've been wondering this for a while. If EA released a patch that fixed some of the bigger flaws before the season starts, I MIGHT still be loyal and buy 08. But Im not sure. I was wondering what the loyal NLSC feels about the issue.

I'm playing from 2003, so even if i'll say im done with EA Sports, i would always buy the next Live's.
I actually don't belive they release a patch, not because of their willings, i belive they are really want to make a patch, but i belive they have so much to work about they won't make it to perfection.

Im not "loyal" to any one company. If i have the money to do so, I just go for the best game. As for the patch, before the season begins or even before the end of the year should be fine

Hopefully they get it done soon... I get depressed whenever I look at the post-game player stats and see 7 players on the computer team with stats looking like this - - - - - - - - - - - - -

hopefully before start of reg season....I'll need people to evaluate the patch first before i make a decision of buying or not.

This game shouldn't need a patch in the first place. It's not like they can buy our loyality back with making it. They'll have to try harder than that.
