Is this game worth it vs. discounted 06?

I posted this in the 06 forum but didn't get a response so far, so I figure maybe I could ask here too and get more feedback from people who have played 07.

My local electronics store is selling Live 07 for $45 Canadian for the PC. Meanwhile, 06 for the PC is $15.

Basically, can mods do enough to 06 to make up for what I lose in terms of updates by not getting 07? In other words, would you consider the irreplaceable things that 07 adds worth the $30 extra that I'd pay?

I have a PS2 and I had 2k6, but I took it back because I couldn't stand the glitches and freezes, and I was less than thrilled about the often stiff feel of the game. I've heard that 2k7 is more or less the same game and has a lot of the same issues.

After playing 07. I believe Live 06 is an amazing game after some heavy patching.

If they get that sub problem fixed, it's worth it. The new features are great, and they improve the gameplay greatly. I think you should wait a week or so and see if EA releases any patches, or someone here finds a fix for it.

Don't buy 07, it's like a hamburger with only two bread stacked together, and for EA, I suggest you to retrieve all the LIVE07 you have sold and refund the money since this product you made is suable rather than playable.

don't buy, I'm a faithful customer and fan, as I buy BRAND NEW ORIGINALS, not used, every single year.... and I have to say, 07 is my worst experience and not sure if I want to continue...

Man i am never ever going to buy another version EA SPORTS NBA LIVE SERIES again. NBA LIVE 2006 was so fake....it was no where near wat the producers had said it would be like. The freestyle superstar mode is a disgrace, which makes the game so fake. Its more like an arcade game.

I threw it away as soon as i played it. NBA LIVE 2007 is just the same. I tried to edit Paul Pierce's gear in the edit player mode, and it doesnt even save the changes. The team gear is all incorrect to, Boston Celtics dont wear white socks at away games, they wear black like most of the other teams do.

What a waste of money. Im sticking to NBA 2K series. That puts EA SPORTS on show.

at least for online leagues.
