Global sliders screen glitch. (missing sliders?)

anybody else notice that the global sliders area looks like it should have way more sliders than it does? You can scroll down with the mouse but then it bounces back up to the top. Could this be the problem with the cpu not subbing? Perhaps the fatigue slider is one of those unreachable/missing sliders.
If that's the case... is there an ini file or something somewhere where you can manually change sliders with a text editor?
I'm probably jsut grasping at straws here but the global sliders area seems busted.

I have noticed that but I think its just because all the menus have that bar on the side. I dont know what file they would be in, anyone know?

This is exactly what I was thinking, but under the same setup in 06 the Fatigue Slider was, I believe, the third or fourth one down. I talked myself out of thinking it was at the bottom.

On the subject of an .ini file, Madden has one and it is incredibly useful, but for some reason Live does not. Everything is in .dat files, and I'm not sure whether or not these are editable.

.ini settings files rule. you can edit sliders and configs in notepad without having to alt-tab or print/write them down.

anyway, has someone tried to use an older live 06 settings.dat file? i would but i traded 06 in for live 07 credit.

If somebody could figure out whether or not .dat files are editable, that would be helpful. They certainly don't open in Notepad.

A .dat editor I guess... I've also read that you can use Microsoft Access to edit .dat-files... I can't test it though, since for some lame reason my Access can't launch. But you should be able to by right-clicking the .dat-file and choose "Open With" and locate Access.

Furthermore you should be able to open .dat-files with Open Office. I'm gonna copy+paste it.

5. The database will be open now. Select the Tables option on the far left and double-click on a table to open it for editing."

Folks, it's not the missing CPU fatigue slider or sub slider that is the problem with subs. Human player has a sub % slider, but still won't make subs or even allow you to sub out starters who aren't in foul trouble. If you try, even with sub freq slider set to 0, the cpu subs the starter right back into the game.

this didn't happen on any of the games i've played. i played many entire games and subbed manually and the CPU didn't put anyone back in ever. i had the human sub slider at 60 though.
