If your PLAYING not Simming... Why play 82 Games?

I always play 29 games... So i can see the development of my players and enjoy the offseasons as the years go by... watch my taem change etc... Why would you actually play a 82 game season? just wondering...

I can see if you are simming.. but not if u are actually playing..

82 games is really hard, but thank God for the intervention option.

If someone play 82 games a season, they try to do a realistic dynasty. I know it is very cool, but I got bored once, when I played 82 games. So now I'm always playing 29, just to reach offseason quicker, because its my favourite part of the dynasty.

Pretty funny Marquis cause i alwyas wanted to do an 82 game season but I thoguht if I intervened my games, I wouldnt be the one getting stats with my player (a la Kobe)... so i went with a shorter seasom - wouldnt get bored and plus I play every signle game from start to finish! And all the stats amassed are from me playing, so i get this sense of control over what's happening with my cyber team

I'm going to run a 82 Game Dynasty but I'm just going to play at most 20 games and this is because it's more realistic from a playoff point of view just because its a lot harder in the West when you're playing Dallas and San Antonio 4 times a piece.

Realism freaks shouldnt expect their team to sweep every series in the playoffs

In my first dynasty for 06 (Jazz) I played every game, every quarter almost.... it was insane

my second dynasty was a 4th quarter intervention, which made it go much faster... i'll probably be doing 4th quarter interventions from now on, with exceptions to only important matchups

I'm thinking of doing a dynasty but no concrete decision has come around yet. I'd seriously think of doing 82 games with intervention only because whenever I play on my own I think I get 3 to 6 more turnovers than the real team would. Plus the simmed portion will balance out the rebounding as well.

i play about 75 out of 82 games...i only sim when i get antsy to get to the playoffs. But if there is a very close race for #1, or i play some real good teams in my last few games then i'll play.

I played about 59 games of my dynasty with the sixers and stil wasnt bored, then my computer crashed and i lost it... btw it was with nba live 2003

Agreed. I usually aim to at least play one full season on 12 minute quarters without simming then start simming games here and there in Year 2.

I've always played 82 games for my dynasty. The most games I had was on Live 2005, 5 seasons and a few games, that's more than 400 games. I only sim the playoffs until I reach the Finals.

Why would you actually play a 82 game season? just wondering...
