Player Movment ect.

Just got the game, the animations are great no more sliding plus it has much better gameplay it feels like you are watching a real game. Just a couple questions.
1. The first freethrow I shoot is down then up(normal). But is it normal for my second freethrow to change to right to left for the release? (it might be left to right cant remember)
2. What button do I use to get in a defensive stance and put my hands up? It doesnt seem to be the right stick anymore.

1. still down then up.

2. right analog up, hold.


what version did you get?

1. It's been down then up with the right stick to shoot free throws (or just the shoot button) for every free throw for me so far.
2. Still the right analog stick, for me.

How you enjoying the game so far?

PC version. I like it so far played one game and it didn't crash to the desktop after I hit quit game at the end. Thats about all I have checked out so far.

I'm useing a playstition controller. But only my left and right work on my right stick, but 06,05 all those work fine on D. (crossover/swiping) But my freethrow are with the left stick and changes left and right and not up and down on my second freethrow. Maybe I better just get a XBOX360 controller. What are you guys useing?

I'm using a normal Logitech PS2 styled controller. Maybe try reprogramming the controller?

Found the problem. For the freestyle control it was set up wierd like up and down was spin move+up/down (or somthinn wierd. Must of been the controller I programed it off of. Sorry I thought I had looked into everything before I posted.

Everything works fine and dandy now. Even freethrows are normal now.

Yes, just go into a local electronics store and ask for a PS2 to usb converter, I've got one, it works fine for me! I recommend

ahhh thanks for that. Do you know how much they cost? I have a ps2 but i thought only XBOX controllers worked, this brightened up my day!

Probably cost $10-20 NZD, you should look on trade me, there are bound to be heaps of people selling them in CHCH, I got my Xbox convertor from some guy in CHCH.

Ya thats kinda what mine looks like. I belive there is a 4 player one also.

sweet, i just bought one for 13 bucks NZ which is cheap as hell

The PS2 joyboxes are great. Ive used one for about 4 years. The only reason I use the xbox360 controller now is because I wanted to try something new. Its also good, but I think the dualshock controllers are the best sport controllers.
