5. McGrady 93
6. Iverson 93
7. Nash 91
8. Arenas 91
9. Dirk 90
10. Brand 90
11. Duncan 89
12 Shaq 89
13. Vince 89 >>>>>overrated in a lot of categories
14. Pierce 89
15. Marion 89
16. Amare 89 >>>>>>>>WTF? this guy hasnt even played. I love this dude, but he might not evne be as good as he was after the injury.
17. Kirilenko 89 >>>>>same as amare but seems to have the skill but did nothing last year cause of injuries.
18. Carmelo 87
19. Bosh 87
20. Artest 87
21. Jermaine 86
22. Manu 86
23. Pau 86
24. Allen 86
25. Kidd 85
26. Redd 85>>>>indeed joe johnson is better
27. Paul 85
28. Josh Howard 85>>>>he does a lot for his team. i think this is actually accurate or even too low depending on how the game implements these ratings.
29. Richardson 85>>>hmmmm?

I think a lot of stars have 99 or high teamwork cause they are the stars and this high number wont let them get stupid in the middle of the season and want a trade.

I guess we'll see when the game comes out.

Keep in mind that if a player excels in one particular category (say he has a 99 block or 99 dunk) it could inflate his overall rating...

1. Lebron 97- Lebron is not a 97, stop hyping him as soon to be greatest ever.

2. Kobe 96- I'm a Kobe lover so no problems here.

3. Wade 94- IMO Lebron should be in this area as well.

4. Garnett 93- same as Wade at 94.

5. McGrady 93- he's the coverboy so the overrating to feed his ego was expected.

6. Iverson 93- Cant really argue cuz at the end of the day he actually is pretty darn good.

7. Nash 91- A bit high, maybe a 86-88 rating woulda been more accurate.

8. Arenas 91- Love Arenas but thats a bit high as well. Maybe an 89.
9. Dirk 90- I'm ok with this.

10. Brand 90- Hmmm, maybe an 88. He's a quality player though so maybe.

11. Duncan 89- Considering his season I guess thats about right.

12 Shaq 89- Slightly high, maybe an 87 or 86 considering his declining impact.

13. Vince 89- Another guy who should be kicked down a notch. Maybe 87.

14. Pierce 89- About right, If I could give an 88.5 I would.

15. Marion 89-Ok with me just for the jumpshot alone.

16. Amare 89- I'm at a crossroad with this. The guy is obviously great but he is coming off an injury plagued year and we dont know what kinda player he will be. After the previous years playoff run he would easily be in the 90s but as of right now I guess this rating is fine.

17. Kirilenko 89- I honestly wouldnt give him more than a 86.

18. Carmelo 87- I think he is slightly underrated. He has performed probably just as well as Wade and Lebron in a tougher conference yet they put him down in the boondocks of ratings. I'd put him in a 89-92 range considering he is probably the 2nd most clutch player in the league. *Kobe Lover*

19. Bosh 87- No real problems. Havent seen him much but that seems somewhat right.

20. Artest 87- Not his biggest fan but hey, the guy got some game no matter if its not all pretty.

21. Jermaine 86- About right. Never been his biggest fan either.

22. Manu 86- I suppose this is ok too.

23. Pau 86- Same. I like this guy alot but its hard to put a higher rating.

24. Allen 86-I woulda probably gave him an extra point or two. Ray Ray has been great over the years.

25. Kidd 85- Woulda probably gave him an 87.

26. Redd 85- Hmmm, not sure about this one, for now he is safe but potentially its a bit high.

27. Paul 85- About ok for now. Hoping to see a good follow up season.

28. Josh Howard 85- No reason to be this high. A couple notches down maybe.

29. Richardson 85- No comment

overall i think the ratings are too high.

10 players are 90+......back in the day it was just Garnett & Duncan.

You are so right, I didnt even think of him. He is at least an 85 if not higher. Good call.

I agree, The highest rated player should really be around like 90-92 the most and there shouldnt be more than 2 or 3 players over 90. I guess these high ratings are a result of overrating in the past and as the players make obvious improvements its kinda hard to make a case to fans as to why their ratings wouldnt improve. Just to make a random example lets say Lebron was an 92 way back when. As the years pass and he has obviously gotten better its hard to make a case as to why his overall would not jump quite a few points as his game has made huge leaps.
