what are the chances?

what are the changes that the Xbox 360 controller will be plug and play with nba live 07 for PC? I tried to install the software but it wont install because it says i dont have service pack 1 or 2. I tried to download that but it says my windows is not genuine. So i pretty much am fucked unless its plug and play without the software.

Or you could just buy windows...

i downloaded win xp service 2 and 1 from download.com and they both wouldnt work. I guess i dont have a valid code or something. I dunno whats the problem. Im just going to hope that the trigger buttons arent recigonized as axis in nba live 07, but i dont think that will happen. Because i plugged in the 360 controller and its recigonized, and all the buttons work. Its just that the trigger buttons are listed as axis and i cant change that. I dont know if i really want to play with 2 less buttons.

you have to install XBCD and load the profile from that site i gave you that turns the triggers from axis' to buttons.

ohhh okay.... i thought i had to install the downloaded software from MS site.


When i use the Xbcd setup utility and load a profile, the buttons seem all crazy with the "xbox tab" open. But when i click on the "windows tab" it seems to work just fine. Is this normal? And do i have to load my profile before i play a game?
